My first visit. Just moved from Co. Prices were a bit steep compared to other stores so you need to "shop the sale" when things are on sale. Was approached twice by staff asking if I needed helpone was wondering why I was taking photos then gave me a thumbs up when I explained I was a Google reviewer. Very pleasant staff. Shelves were very clean and well light in many places. A few items I wanted from magazine coupons of the week were out of stock so my advice is to hit those on the first day instead of the last day. Poor inventory management there. Did not check the restroom but it was marked well. Check out asile was a bit fickly. After doing a dog bagcoupon and then milk, it said unexpected item in bagmilk. Removed it and it still didn't go away. Replaced milk and moved dog food bag then it said to replace item in bag. Put the dog food back and then under the milk line it said unexpected milk bag. I called for assistance but by the time someone came, it cleared itself up. Has a cute small post office in the niche as well. Drive through pharmacy as well. Nice place but like I said.... shop the sale. I'll be back occasionally. 2 more visits later, this place has dropped another star for not inventorizing their red hot deals or even the weekly coupons when they plan the coupons out ahead, they should also plan the stock. Hopefully they improve but judging from comments on their Facebook page this seems to be a problem. This was at the one off 108th and Fort.
Always a great place to shop. I like the discount for bringing your own bags, and the Senior Discount on Wednesday. The quality of their items is always fresh, and enjoyable. The new store layout will take some getting used to, but it allows you to find new things while you explore.
Scott in the deli department is seriously the best! Although they were crazy busy he still got us all taken care of very quickly and had a smile on his face while doing it. The best customer service I've had in a long time!
The place is nice but I feel like no one wants to help you. I'm not a needy person at all, but there's no one that ask if you need help, no greeting or eye contact. They all look just so miserable and unfriendly. Also in need of sacking tutorials. The employees in the bakery, floral,liquor, deli are nice and a few here and there like Bonnie Redick. Restaurant section needs more help as well.
This is definitely one of the best individually staffed stores in Omaha. This store is staffed with forever friends. Everyone is personable, friendly and professional all the time. They take care of customers everyday all day. They are collectively a great and personable team that balances customer expectations with total customer satisfaction.
I absolutely love this Hy-Vee! The employees are always friendly and they always have a lot of product in stock! I love their heatable dinners section! They can be pricey on the meat but it’s quality food and I don’t mind paying extra for quality service and food!!
I purposely use the self scan because I feel that I am helping the staff and cutting down your expenses. But I am frustrated that all the vegetables and fruits are not in the system causing me my time in getting them in there correctly. Bakers and Walmart have a much better system. I hate to say this but if you want my business you will have to upgrade your computer system! My time is valuable too.
I visited this store today. I purchased a steak & crab legs. I browsed your steak & was assisted by Mark. I told him I wanted a New York strip. He never asked if I wanted a specific steak. He wrapped some random steak and asked if I needed anything else. I said, 'Which steak was that?! I wanted that one.' Then, I pointed to the one I wanted. He said, 'I have no idea which one you're pointing at.' His tone and attitude was very curt, rude & unprofessional. He could have easily apologized to me and said, 'Which would you prefer?' I walk to the register, I'm standing in line and I notice your manager, Jerred, standing behind me. I am 52 yrs old. I have been racially profiled enough in my lifetime to know he was watching me. And, I know he was watching me because when I began staring at him he became visible uncomfortable and walked away. Why would I risk my freedom for crab legs?! Your employees need sensitivity training, customer service retraining & diversity training. I should be able to shop in peace and not be harassed by bias, rude, presumptuous employees.
Food Market was great. Very clean store. Frustration with items always being out of stock and prices of items. Since the 3 cent fuel saver with each purchase was removed with Hy-Vee membership it doesn’t seem worth renewing membership.
Convenient higher priced. Produce is lacking. Staff is helpful. Meat counter is nice
