I had some clothing repaired here a while ago and had a great experience. Super friendly staff and I love that the store is also a boutique with some very nice quality items. I get compliments every time I wear a sweater I purchased there.
Amazing tailoring place. The owner is very professional and polite. Their prices and turn around times are very competitive. The location is convenient and l like the atmosphere of the store. It always has close by available free parking. Overall l would recommend them to anyone who has any tailoring needs. It's a pleasure to see a well managed local business. Good job! Thank you for your service
I took my wide legged pants there to be altered because they had great reviews but I am not at all pleased with their service. My brand new pants were given to me both pairs on the same hanger and not covered and very wrinkled and they look like they're dirty from either an unclean work space or hands.
Sydney, boutique owner, did a FABULOUS job altering my bridesmaid dress in perfect timing! She was also able to fix other clothing items I had torn & zipper replacement. Not to mention her Boutique store offers a great selection of unique trendy items!! Strongly Recommend for your alteration & fashion needs!
Always the best experience here for alterations, I greatly appreciate their honest and quick opinions to solve my alteration wants. In addition to the quality of service, they have a beautiful selection of merchandise for all styles. It is my favorite location to purchase original gifts.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, ValueServicesAlterations

This older German gentleman is the most fantastic person. My husband and I have been going to him for over a decade. He does a beautiful job, and has low prices. He is also a tailor, I have had my suits adjusted from top to bottom and side to side. In fact I had my USA International officials uniform tailor by him, wonderful job. Friendly and kind face every time I walk in. Love this man. I love the area as well. Simas and a wonderful shoe shop. Great location.
Hyde park is my go-to tailor and boutique! Every time I visit I end up finding fabulous gifts and a few things for myself! I’ve had several bridesmaid dresses tailored here, and all have turned out perfectly. 5 stars all around!PositiveQuality, ProfessionalismServicesAlterations
I have had two pairs of suit pants altered here this far, and I am happy with both results. The first pair was basic hemming very reasonably priced, but the second was a hand-me-down pair of slacks that required waist, pant length, and leg width to all be modified. They were far to large to begin with, but after the work done here, they fit perfectly. Able to change an old baggy suit into a modern, well-fitted garment. Short story: great work on suits, priced reasonably, relatively quick service
I am incredibly disappointed to be writing this. I live just blocks away from Hyde Park and wanted SO badly to like them! I brought a bridesmaid dress to Hyde Park to shorten it and fix the straps so they fit a bit better. I had asked ahead of time what the average cost was and she said $75. She didn't mention anything whatsoever at the fitting about it costing any more than that, no warning that due to the length it would cost more which other tailors have warned me about that before. I come to pick up the dress the week of the wedding and she tells me it's $125! I was entirely and completely shocked. No heads up? No warning? Doesn't that just seem a bit expensive?? Her only explanation was a long piece of fabric she had saved to show me, no other explanation. I tried it on there to make sure it fit okay and it seemed fine in the 2 minutes I tried it on in the dressing room. When I came out she didn't even ask if it fit okay she just handed me my receipt. Wearing it to the wedding I can definitely say it did not fit right. The straps were still loose and funny fitting so the entire day I spent time trying to pick them up so nothing fell out of my top... This is also not the first bad experience I've had with Hyde Park. I purchased a dress for my godson's baptism there and loved it, it was beautiful and it was my first experience at Hyde Park. Well, during photos in the church, on the alter, my godson's grandmother comes up to me to let me know the entire side of my dress is WIDE OPEN. And it just kept unraveling. I had to run out of there with my husband and 1 1/2 year old to a Target and buy an entirely new outfit. It was completely embarrassing. I took the dress back to Hyde Park the next time they were open and at least she gave me a full refund. I still don't necessarily know if I trust the other clothing in the store though so I needless to say I won' t be going back.
