Frozen in Time. I was in Murray Utah today and drove out of my way to enjoy a delicious Iceberg milkshake. Ordered one of the more expensive shakes, Snickers. I arrived exactly 15 minutes before closing time. Obviously a mistake. I watched them block the drive thru with a garbage can just as I was trying to enter. I drove around to the side and parked. The crew was very focused on cleaning up and closing down. I ordered my shake, the shift leader himself took my order. He made it clear that this customer was imposing on his precious clean up time. No greeting, no please, no thanks for coming by. I know he can talk because he clearly stated how much money to pay him. Clearly I was to feel their magnanimous benevolence simply by being allowed to order seeing as the inside was closed and the exterior take out windows basically locked down. I did get my"famous" Snickers shake. Actually, it tasted more like a vanilla shake with a couple of chocolate flakes and a few hard to find pieces of a Snickers Bar. I quickly realized that a large portion of my shake really was plain vanilla. Normally, I would address this with the manager on duty at the time of the event however tonight I was more interested in living than requesting. I opted to take a picture and a shot at the garbage can instead. It's been a long time since I've had a shake. Better to toss it than eat one that doesn't have any flavor. To be fair, this is my first visit to The Iceberg in over 25 years. Tonight may have been an anomaly. I hope so. Eventually I will be willing to give it another try long before closing time. That is when I will update this review.

Shakes were great!  Food, meh.  Thanks for your response.  When we ordered we told the girl that we would be sitting inside and she said she’d bring it out.  After 25 minutes we went and asked about our order.  It had been sitting at the window.  I don’t know how long it had sat there.  It happened to someone else that was sitting by us as well.  The burgers and fries were pretty dry.  Maybe if they were fresh when we got them it would’ve been better.  The shakes were delicious though!  Thanks!

The absolute best shakes in all the world.  We never miss an opportunity to visit Iceberg when we are in town.  The Mini is huge and the variety of flavors and flavor combinations are amazing.  Whatever your mood, you will find a flavor that will scratch that itch.  I hope you have a freezer as these shakes are sometimes hard to finish.

Such a classic! This place has been around for decades. Took my daughter here for her first time. She was amazed at how big the shakes were and we got the mini!! The fries were crispy, fresh and hot with the perfect amount of salt! She said we're definitely coming back here! Her new fav!!

Their famous thick shakes and extra crispy fries were great - just what we were craving. The fresh strawberry shake is one of their best! But unfortunately their other food is not at all worth it, especially with the poor service that is likely the result of being so understaffed. I had to go back because they forgot the sandwich in my combo order and then found my chicken sandwich thrown upside down in the bag with all of the toppings I was told would *not* be on the burger dumped on top of my fries. But if you can handle poor customer service and want just a delicious thick shake, Iceberg fits the bill.

Been eating eating there off and on for over 50 years. Not much has changed. Still great food, huge shakes, huge frys, and good burgers.  Parking: Plenty of parking in back.  Wheelchair accessibility: I think they have plenty of room for wheelchair inside or outside dining.

Always get a mini shake! They are huge and delicious!  It was my first time taking my kids there and they loved it!  The service was awesome. The food is pretty basic but if I can feed my entire family and get dessert for under $50 right now and my pickiest kid thinks it's good, I'm a customer for life!  Kid-friendliness: Great for kids!

A local historic spot in Salt Lake.  Shakes, soft serve cones with chocolate tiling’s, burgers, fry sauce and more.   Limited seating inside and everyone waits outside.  great family treat

We were not happy with the two Oreo shakes that we ordered. We ordered the mini which by the way is a shake that you could share with two people so be sure you are hungry if you are getting a mini for yourself - otherwise you’ll throw away a quarter of it.  There wasn’t enough Oreo in our shake and the Oreos that were in it did not taste like original Oreos. We ask the employees if they use original Oreos and they said they did so I’m not quite sure why it didn’t taste like Oreo. There was also a blueberry in my shake which really grossed me out until I realized what it was.  We started eating our shakes inside the lobby but there were so many flies in the lobby that we had to go eat out in our car. The lobby is very small but there is a lot of room seating outside. I would definitely recommend take out only  The Employees and service were good.  We have been to other iceberg locations before and things were fine but this was not a great experience for us this time.

I went in for some onion rings and was given amazing service! The onion rings could have used more salt, but everything else was beyond fantastic. Classic ice cream parlor atmosphere with excellent service. Definitely make this a stop for over the top shakes and good foodFood: 4/5
