This is a good place for the kiddos to do something during the winter. They have plenty of seating overlooking the ice rink and adequate amount inside the other building. They have a snack bar and bathrooms are kept up with soap and paper products. Prices are reasonable.
Extremely disappointed in this venue. Hockey tournament it was filthy in general and I feel Like that is a generous description. The ladies restroom was disgusting with multiple toilets clogged. The boys locker room had a urinal that was overflowing for apparently >12 hours and feces in the shower area. Honestly, one of the worst rinks we have been to. *word of advice—-use the restroom at your hotel before you come here!
The girls locker room is quite literally a storage closet. It has zero ventilation, it has access to the breaker panel and can turn off the electricity to the whole building. They must have just out of a piece of ply wood and a door. There is a space in between the ice and the boards the home teams are very rude I’m aware that’s not the rinks fault. There are a ton of boys locker rooms why can’t you just make one of those a girls locker room. I can’t say anything about the open skating. The bathrooms are gross. The rink could use an update. Overall don’t come here unless you really need to
I was there at a birthday party the other day for my friend and some of the staff was horrible and some of it was great. One person was just being all physical with their partner the whole time, and in front of kids at that. Even gave us two right skates when we had to interrupt them. Quite literally the entire time they were all over each other. Disregarding that I had a great time and literally everything else was great, rest of the staff was great. -I just read my friends review which had some great points, the party rooms were sort of small and the pizza was kind off gross but i get that parties aren’t their top priority. I’ve been going since i was little and I’ve made great memories there, despite its downsides.
I grew up in the upper midwest playing hockey before I moved down here. Now I have a few kids and I've been teaching them how to skate. Most rinks have minor issues from a bunch of immature hockey players who want to destroy something after they just got done losing a game. Angry kids with sticks. Overall the facilities are pretty good in my eyes. I've been to other facilities in the area and the ice at this rink is FAR superior. Ice maintenance should always be #1 and that is why I love this place and keep coming back.
I do not know where to start. First time here at this facility. 1. No attendee at the office to get entry tickets. 2. Went to get skate rentals and had to keep my eyes closed because the girl attending in a grey zip front hoodie had her zipper down way to far half way and her breasts where falling out. She was wearing a very skimpy red bra. Inappropriate for a family friendly establishment. Where is management? 3. One girl was mopping the floors, but really you might want to pick up the trash on the floor and not mop around it. 4. Establishment is very run down, with poor choice of mismatched repairs. Otherwise my daughter's enjoyed being on the ice. Purchase your own skates as their rentals are very basic and rough shape. Posted by a Dad.
While at a birthday party today, the kids were skating for only about 10 minutes before they had to leave the rink as a team was about to start a game. This was not clearly communicated beforehand to the mother who paid for the party and when she tried speaking with the manager about the situation, he immediately raised his voice and berated her in the middle of the lobby, in front of all of the kids. He was not apologetic in the least and was extremely unprofessional. I think in the end he offered her a few vouchers for kids to come back, but not enough for all kids in the party. Whether the timing situation had been communicated prior to the party or not, I was totally taken aback by the behavior of the manager and will not be visiting again.
My friends and I brought our children here today during public skate. While I am compassionate to the facility’s struggle with staffing, that in no way excuses the absolute ATROCIOUS customer service. At the snack bar, I was greeted by a young man with the utmost disdain for his job. I remained pleasant and thanked him for his time, but finally had to call him out at the end of our interaction due to his poor attitude. I ended up telling him that although I was sympathetic with his situation, I would appreciate being treated with the same kindness I was displaying toward him. At the skate rental counter, the young lady working was just as miserable and unhelpful. I get it; it’s stressful working with the public, especially during busy days while being short staffed. However, that does not excuse them for their downright awful attitude with their customers. I hope this serves as a warning to future customers and perhaps those young people will see this and adjust their behavior accordingly.
The ice was nice and smooth. However, the facilities were very dirty. Bathrooms were dirty, paper and garbage from concessions all over the floor in the main area. First pair of skates given to my daughter were broke at the strap. All kids running things, didn't see one adult working.
2 rinks both good size and pretty decently kept. A dance studio is located upstairs. They have concessions and some arcade games prices aren't too bad.
