The Idaho Democratic Party faces the very hard task of turning the very red state of Idaho blue. They do a great job at it: speaking with constituents and voters, working with volunteers, and making Idaho a better place.

I can see why the Democratic party is weak in Idaho. I just spent an hour finding a parking spot and then walking block after block looking for the end of the line to caucus. A nightmare! The line stretched east and west, north and south from Eighth to 12th and from Main to Front. No one really knew where it started and ended. The people were lined up 5 and 6 deep. Finally after finding the end of the line and seeing it was 6:45. No matter that I was pre registered. They decided to just bunch everyone together and let them all wait. I hope next election we have a normal voting primary. The Republicans got that one right! This caucus being open to all, I'll bet there were a lot of Republicans there deciding who would be the most beatable candidate. Sheila Woodward. Sorry, this was not written by Hailey West.
