Beware. James walked out in the middle of a job that I signed a contract for and left a new water leak behind for me too. He was very helpful in the beginning of my bathroom install but when he finally got the sink vanity in project was moving along slowly, it was not centered with the mirror/medicine cabinet so I asked if there was a way that it could be centered. He originally said yes but then it must’ve been too much to ask. He sent a text to me that afternoon saying that he doesn’t have time to finish my job because his other 3rd party contractor jobs were piling up. I came home to a job left half done and the sink plumbing leaking into the bottom of the vanity it’s been leaking for 3 days now since. Although he said he left it unfinished because his 3rd party jobs were piling up, it seems that it was also because he was just frustrated or offended maybe that I asked if the sink could be centered. Either reason is unacceptable and terrible business etiquette. Instead of talking to me to come up with a solution or compromise I originally was not upset about the sink – just wanted to know if it could be centered, he just quit instead. The only good part is that he walked out before getting the final payment. None-the-less, his behavior was very unprofessional and the job very incomplete. UPDATE: In response to his very false response - Attached are screenshots of James' text messages telling me that he doesn't have time to finish this job because his 3rd party jobs are piling up and to keep the remainder of what was supposed to be owed. I've paid him IMMEDIATELY every time he came to me for payment, which was half down and another large chunk for supplies. He walked off the job shortly after. There were NO other payments requested before he quit. There is proof of every bit of it. I now think that he doesn't deserve even the one star, after seeing that he's also extremely dishonest. His response is 100% untrue. I waited two days before deciding to share my story, only because I like his wife and don't want to this to affect her in any way. But his actions were just too out of line to not share with others, as he shouldn't be able to get away with such tactics. .... I'm not sure if the text screenshots I shared are visible to everyone or not but if that's not enough proof, I could always share that day's ENTIRE text conversation elsewhere if he'd like. And/Or.. if anyone wants to see that text conversation for proof of what really happened, just let me know and I'll show you directly. That'll easily clear up who's story is the true one. 11-12-18: There is NO balance of $800 due. James did NOT ask for any more payments and there is no text saying that neither. If there is, he should share it. With the date and also list exactly what work he did that this additional $800 is for too. Because I've already paid him $1525 $750 for half the quote [labor] and another $775 for materials. He made a little more progress then he left, leaving the job half done. There is no toilet he still has the one that I paid for - but that's ok, keep it in trade for the paint, there's no exhaust fan installed, there's no ceiling, shower is not secured, sink plumbing is leaking, no trim work. So why would he now be asking for the full / finished job payment?? He quit and said keep the balance and hire someone else. The text screenshots clearly state that he "didn't have time to finish the job and to keep any balance". To try to say that I didn't pay something now is newly created, and 100% inaccurate. The contract clearly says that the balance of $750 is due when the job is complete and satisfactory. James decided to quit half way through. The job is not at all complete. And this is why he did not ask, nor is he even due the balance. He didn't finish the work. ... And due to his continuous false statements, although I planned to just share my experience and be done, I feel I'm being forced to PROVE that my experience is true. Which I will.

I was so excited when I saw the backsplash that iFix-It installed in my kitchen. They didn’t take long and they were very courteous and professional. It’s beautiful! Now I can invite all my friends over so I can show my kitchen off! Lol

He installed a kitchen sink & disposal for me. Superb attention to detail. He cleaned up perfectly after he was done too. I'm actually looking for more things to have him fix!! A+

Garage door opener was broken and I called this company. They came out the next day and not only replaced it, but got it set up on my iphone so I can open it anywhere from the app.
