My husband and I wanted to get tattoos while we were out of town. After a quick Google search we stumbled upon Imperial Tattoos, and we are so glad we did. The shop was clean and organized- both guys in the shop were very friendly. Matt did both of our tattoos and he was awesome. Very professional and accommodating. My boyfriend and I got tattoos and I got nervous before mine because it was my first tattoo. John had done our tattoos and he assured me it wasn’t a bad as I was thinking and calmed me down. He did and amazing job on my tattoo and I love it. I am so glad I chose to go to this shop. I will surely recommend this shop to everyone that has talked to me about wanting a tattoo or another. Came in with my wife, we were in the town for the night and just wanted to get a quick flash tattoo each. Can positively say I am very happy with the result of my work, but have to say I had a horrible experience with John. John did a great job at the end after a lot of back n forth he gave us exactly what we requested and did a great job. But at the end of the day I have more reasons to be unhappy with visit than happy, I understand we were walk ins, we didn’t have an appointment other than we called ahead and John fit us in, and while being appreciative of that, I have never had a tattoo artist be so argumentative with me about the placement of a tattoo and same with my wife, he had a lot of rules that he followed that I had never heard a tattoo artist use before, and I am not going to get into all that, but after explaining to him it should just be fun, and that it wasn’t a serious tattoo he continued to make us aware he just didn’t like the placement and other things, he went around in circles with us, finally said he would do it, and then his whole attitude changed and he came off very angry, I was very nervous to get the tattoo being that he seemed unhappy to do it… skip forward to placement of the tattoo he argues again until one of his superiors told him it was fine, then the worst part after that was his gun is completely silent, he gave no heads up and just start going and he is heavy handed, on a positive note he is very fast and it was a very quick tattoo. I could go on and on about unhappy I am with my experience, but I am happy with the results. I would like to add, I was very happy with the pricing, and I have a lot a tattoos in my opinion, and have been to a lot of the artist, I have had a lot of different experiences all over the states and with many different artist. John about lost me a handful of times before we even started due to his attitude but I stuck it out, I’m glad I did, I can see that he is very prideful in what he does and firm, and that was the only reason I didn’t leave right then and there.

This was my first time at imperial after being tattooed by 3 different shops previously and I can confidently say this is the best experience I’ve had at a tattoo shop. Everyone is friendly and the environment is great. Glenn did my piece and not only was he great company but a wonderful artist. Definitely recommend.
