Mission

The Independence Visitor Center Corporation (IVCC) is a Pennsylvania nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization, which operates in cooperation with the National Park Service, Visit Philadelphia®, Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, the City of Philadelphia, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.​​​​

The IVCC manages the Independence Visitor Center, the official visitor center for the Greater Philadelphia Region and primary point of orientation for Independence National Historical Park, the City of Philadelphia, the Southern New Jersey and Delaware River Waterfronts, as well as Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania.

The IVCC also manages satellite locations, City Hall Visitor Center and Sister Cities Park Visitor Center; the visitor-friendly public transit service, Philly PHLASH® Downtown Loop; and the private event space, The Liberty View at Independence Visitor Center.

We provide access to all the city has to offer: activities, tickets, reservations, and opportunities. Our friendly, helpful, multilingual Visitor Services Representatives can turn any visitor's wish list into an unforgettable, customized itinerary.

Products

Located in Independence National Historical Park, the Independence Visitor Center is the exclusive location to pick up free, timed tickets to tour Independence Hall.

All visitors are welcome to speak with our multilingual Visitor Services Representatives, who are fluent in twelve languages, to help with trip-planning advice so you can make the most out of your time in the city.

Tickets for more than 100 local tours, attractions, museums, are available for purchase.

The Visitor Center is also home to Independence Gift Shop, the official gift shop of Greater Philadelphia; and Café Independence.
