Really could use some updates. Not sure who runs this but the floors are always covered in dust and the score boards haven't worked for a long time. It works for what the boys need a court indoors but could definitely use some updates and repairs.
The referees at this place are blantantly biased. They make zero calls against the home teams. 5 jump balls in a row were called in favor of the home team. The home team constantly hit and shoved our players and the referees never called a single foul against them. Its pretty sad when at 3rd grade level you have to have the refs help you cheat to win a game.
Not a great facility. There's mold under the drinking fountain, some of the bleachers are held together by duct tape, and the lobby is really the only good part.
Great staff with a focus on kids unique developmentneeds. My son loves playing for IBA Prep. They keep it fun and fresh. They have two courts and a smaller shooting zone, which little kids can often occupy themselves in while older kids are playing.
My Granddaughter played basketball there last week. Not too far from Sam's club. Had several courts going at once.
Well what can I say , I was really excited for my son to start this spring /summer . We paid the $200 fee and then the $95 uniform fee . Received an email about two upcoming practices for my son to attend which he did. And was just waiting on the email stating the future game dates and practice times . I did receive that email and also received to my surprise a link for the remaining balance $995 due in two weeks of that email . Who has that kind of money??? Maybe people in Carmel but not our family and if I would have seen that price That they nonchalantly snuck in there I wouldn't have even signed him up from the beginning. The offer they put on the table was bringing my fee down to the the girls price of $500 And I explained that all I wanted was a refund and all they are willing to refund in the uniform of $95. Very disappointed of the organization. I guess money still talks and if your a girl you can play for a cheaper price at IBA
We have played at this facility the last three years. Each year the conditions get worse. The scoreboards have not worked properly ever. Missing bulbs. Not visible to spectators. Inoperable from time to time. The bathrooms are disgusting. Unkept. No paper towels. Dirty. Today I draw the line and felt a review was necessary. No one is here to open the doors until 7:55. Our game was at 8:00. It is 52 degrees inside and the heat is off and remained off the entire 3 hours we were present. The bleachers are broken and unsafe. By the amount of teams you have participating in IYBL I can only assume you are making enough to upkeep your facility. You run many games through here every weekend. Why do you not take care of your facilities? I’ve also seen one of your seasoned coaches throw a chair across the floor in anger and nothing was done about it. He continued to coach and was not even approached by the officials. With facilities and new teams on the rise it might be in your best interest to review your current operations and make some improvements.
I normally wouldn’t write something like this but I do feel like it needs to be addressed. My son went to the camp after Thanksgiving and it was very unprofessional. For starters, after we paid, we didn’t get any email confirming, letting us know where to, giving us details about the camp, etc. We never got anything. Either did the other campers we asked. The “coaches” were 10 minutes late. One of the coaches was more attentive than the other one. They say on the website faith is at the core, but there wasn’t any prayer, which was a surprise. That was disappointing. We came over an hour early for pickup and the kids were just sprinting around running wild. My son did have a good time because he didn’t know any better, and that’s why we gave 2 stars. $90 per kid and no professionalism involved. I’d say it was more of a daycare for the kids. Not a great experience. Hope others have a better time!
Thought the refs would be better away from Finch Creek but.....NO! Once again horrible refs.
Dude! They turned my son into a BALLER! My son has been playing b-ball for less than a year. We were going to Westfield for another big name team but WAS NOT happy with the level of coaching and lack of player development. Since coming to IBA his skills have exploded, and he's fallen in love with basketball told us he'll still play soccer, but only if he doesn't have bball practice
