Indianapolis Ballet, Inc. advances professional ballet and dance education in our community through world-class training and dynamic performances provided in a culturally diverse environment designed for the continual physical, intellectual and artistic growth of all dancers.
-- Multiple main stage productions by the new Indianapolis Ballet professional company at The Toby at Newfields, the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre (The Nutcracker) and performances as part of the annual IndyFringe Festival on Mass Ave.
-- These world-class performances will also incorporate the skills of the Indianapolis School of Ballet's talented students, whom also conduct their annual "May We Dance" showcase The Toby at Newfields each May to cap off their 34 weeks of instruction.
-- Classes for female and male dancers of all ages in three divisions: Young Children's Program (ages 4-7), Pre-Professional Program (ages 8-19), and Open/Adult Dance Program (ages 13 and older).
-- Five- and three-week Summer Intensive programs for the serious-minded dancer each June and July.
-- Summer Day Camp Programs for children ages 5-10 focusing on dance with a multi-disciplined arts approach including music, art and field trips to downtown cultural locales.
-- Master Classes with renowned dancers, pedagogues, and choreographers.
-- Annual free community outreach performance venues include the Indianapolis Artsgarden, Indianapolis Central Public Library and Murat Theatre.
