Story

The Indianapolis City Market is a historic public market located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was founded in 1821 and in 1886 was officially opened in its current facility. The market building is a one-story, rectangular brick building trimmed in limestone. It as a front gable center section flanked by square towers. The Indianapolis City Market also played host for some events for the Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis.The city market was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Great historic Market in downtown Indianapolis. Pre COVID there were a lot of choices for local food. Still a good spot but sad to see several places close down.
Nice...looks a little bit Eastern Market in DC my hometown
Still got a few good places to eat in there different shops under construction right now and renovation but it's still City market
It would have been a great variety of menus to choose from for lunch, if 3/4 of the shops were actually open. Managed to grab tamales from the Tamale Place and they were delicious as usual. Google said the farmers market inside was open. It was not. Nor is it inside City Market anymore. Very disappointing, except for the tamales
