I found Indigo Physiotherapy after searching for someone local to address ongoing lower back pain after having my daughter. I have tried numerous massages, bodywork, and physical therapy over the years to address the pain, but I still struggle with daily back pain. I scheduled a massage with Medina and she was amazing! For the first time in a very long time, I went without significant back pain following the massage. Medina took time to talk with me about my concerns/issues and agreed to develop a plan to address my lower back pain. I have since been back for another massage and plan to see Medina ongoing to help better manage my back pain. She is kind, patient, and has a very gentle and relaxing approach. And the bonus is that Indigo is just a few miles from my home!
Indigo Physiotherapy has been *incredible* for my physical health during two dramatically different pregnancies. I found Indigo PT because I was explicitly looking for a practice that had a strong component of exercise/running knowledge AND a focus on pelvic floor health and women pre and postpartum. Since finding Indigo, I've worked with Dr. Jana who is absolutely STELLAR. Her bedside manner is professional, kind, and non-judgmental. Her ability to take into account my past even across 2 pregnancies but adapt to new and shifting changes and issues I have is refreshing. I ran every day of my first pregnancy and felt supported and encouraged–which is not people's typical reaction to running through pregnancy. I also got back to running 8-weeks post-C section and suffered no major complications, because I was actively practicing PT and ensuring that my progress was not faster than my healing with support from Dr. Jana. In my second pregnancy I stopped running but then suffered major SI joint and other joint/ligament challenges which *only* found sustainable relief through PT with Dr Jana and supportive massage from Medina. It's a shame that insurance policies don't cover pelvic floor health and support for pregnancy and postpartum, but many cover parts of it. If there's one place you invest your money in your health outside of your insurance plan, let it be Indigo PT.
I worked with Dr. Jana for prenatal Physical Therapy and postpartum Physical Therapy, specifically for pelvic floor/core, and lower back care. On top of receiving effective treatment, she was knowledgable, calming, and incredibly approachable. I'm now a huge advocate for pelvic floor physical therapy during and after pregnancy. Specifically, I recommend Indigo for these services. The clinic is welcoming and relaxing. Each session felt like "me" time to unwind and focus on my body, not like a standard doctor visit. I will 100% go back in the future. Thank you!
What a great local find. Chronic back pain that chiropractic help had at best just managed was treated with a more whole body approach. Adding stretching and the right kind of exercises has left me pretty much pain free and able to get back to the gym and longer bike rides. Highly recommend for any physical discomfort from back pain to joint issues and of course the classic pregnancy and childbirth complaints they're already experts at.
I can’t sing higher praises of Indigo and Dr. Erin. Her knowledge and guidance on pelvic floor therapy helped me get back to running condition within a year of giving birth. The facilities are immaculate, calming, and private. Dr. Erin is helpful, understanding, kind, and knowledgeable. I am very happy with my experience and treatment at Indigo.
I love the full patient experience at Indigo Physiotherapy. At every point, being a patient here is a welcoming, easy, and enjoyable experience! From the intake to each appointment to their wait list system, every appointment their process is smooth, their systems flow nicely. The space is also extraordinary as far as health care spaces go. It is very well designed and inviting and exudes the energy of health and care. Clinically, the care is excellent. My provider Dr. Erin is great - she has a warm and engaging bedside manner, is an astute listener, and she’s a very skilled PT. My body is doing better after only one PT session. I’m 52; I am so glad I listened to my body now, knew about Indigo from friends and a health care provider of mine, and got here! I know I’ll benefit from the physiotherapy and the new knowledge about caring for my body for the rest of my life. Thanks for being here, Indigo Physiotheraoy and Dr. Erin Eberle!
Indigo Physiotherapy is a special place -- from the moment I walked in the door, I felt cared for. The space is clean and inviting, my Physical Therapist, Dr. Jana, is amazingly approachable and knowledgeable, and everything about the way the practice is run is smooth and patient-centered. I am really so glad I found them! If you are looking for pelvic floor physical therapy, this is the place to go.
I found Dr. Mandy Rose to be exceptionally knowledgeable about pelvic health, my specific concerns, and beyond. I appreciated her expectational bedside manor and I felt as though she truly cared about my wellbeing. The way she explained everything was easy to understand, and I was happy that the information was shared post-appointment. The admin staff was efficient with scheduling appointments and making the entire process easy. I enjoyed the ambiance of the clinic- the welcome area was open and comforting while the patient rooms felt cozy and less like a doctors office which was great for the type of intimate care one received in this specialty. I highly recommend Indigo and Dr. Rose!
I HIGHLY recommend Indigo Physiotherapy and the team at the Roland Park location. Everyone was very professional and welcoming. As someone new to Pelvic Floor PT, I was initially apprehensive. However, Dr. Mandy Rose's expertise, personalized approach, and genuine support put me at ease. I am incredibly grateful for her guidance and care as I continue my PT journey.
This place is truly a local gem, both PT and massage staff are top notch. Their courtesy billing of insurance stands out as unique in today’s healthcare market. While waiting for months as a new patient is the norm elsewhere, not so here and the quality of care equals or exceeds their peers. I rarely participate in this type of review, but did so here because my experience has been outstanding.
