A 5  review is very rare from me. But, there is no other option for Indow! We compared similar products and decided that Indow had a superior product. While others sealed with a weather stripping type product, Indow uses silicone to ensure a perfect fit.  We are THRILLED with the finished product! My husband was concerned about the taper on the three lower windows, but as I had hoped, the silicone made it a non-issue.  We are very pleased with our decision to go with Indow inserts!

Over the past four or five years, we've been converting from exterior storm windows to Indows, placing orders as our budget allows. We started with three third-story windows above a steep shed roof, and were delighted with the insulation, noise reduction, and safety of installation. Although the 109-yr-old windows were far from square, the inserts fit perfectly. We gradually worked our way down to the first floor, finishing with some casement windows that had mammoth, heavy storm windows that covered two windows at the same time and were very difficult to install, even for two adults working together. I just finished placing the Indows this afternoon, and realized yet another benefit: although the weather couldn't make up its mind between rain, hail, sleet, and snow, it made no difference to me! I was cozy and dry indoors as I got the house ready for cold weather. I have recommended Indows to several neighbors on our street of historic homes.

I am thrilled with the products we received and with the customer service that was provided from beginning to end. I am thoroughly impressed with all aspects of the business. Being a business owner myself, I am usually understanding, but rarely impressed. IndowWindows has blown my expectations of quality, affordability, and customer service out of the water!

Our Indow Window inserts have been a life saver for us. We have a kiddo who has severe sound sensitivity issues. Our Indow inserts have made their life so much better. They do a great job or deadening street noises and still let us keep their room full of light. We are so thankful for them!

I live in the Midwest where winters are long, windy and cold.  My home is only 18 years old but the windows are substandard and my heating & cooling bills are high so we keep the house pretty cool to avoid condensation on the windows.  I started research ways to improve: keeping humidity controlled, manufacturers storm windows discontinued making years ago, wrapping with 3M clear plastic what a hassle to apply & remove so I started looking a indoor storms.  I reviewed 4 different manufacturers: 3with the flexible bulb seal, 1 with an aluminum frame with flexible bulb on frame & one with magnetic strips to hold the indoor storm in place.  The magnetic type required permanently adding metal strips on the window frame which created problems on the double hung windows.  I purchase 1 Indow window storm and 1 Alpina aluminum frame storm and put them to the test.   Although I like the ease of which the Alpina installed with plexiglass removed you have access to adjust the it straight within the window frame major down fall was the aluminum frame still conducted the cold thru and frosted up. The Indow inserts did not conduct cold nor frost up.  I could get Indow window fit all my windows, flat plate glass, the side by side double hung and sliders. I had some concerns with emergency egress but quickly learned that the Indow with adequate D rings could easily be pulled out and set aside. The Indow window inserts have a nice clean look, match the vinyl windows and blend well.  The purpose for installing was to insulate and prevent condensation and frost build up.  The noise reduction was a bonus.  The only con was a little crinkling in the bottom corners which they resolved by providing a video on how to adjust and adding "D" rings to aid in working the crinkles out.  I'm very pleased with their prompt and courteous service.

Had street noise in my bedroom. Worked with Orlin and ordered Indow window inserts.  Easy to measure and install.  Perfect fit and high quality.  Street noise and drafts much reduced!

We've had a good experience with their windows. I shopped against one or two other options. These were a little cheaper so we went with it. I noticed a big difference right away, we live on a busy farm road. We figure it cut out about 75% of the noise which is good. I would definitely do it again for the price. Ordering and installation more straightforward pretty easy. Installation took about 10 minutes tops. Recommended.
