I really loved coming here! Everyone is so friendly and I have never encountered any problems. They made my teeth super straight and I am beyond pleased with the service. I would recommended this orthodontist to anyone.

I went to Dr. Barillas to fix my bite I had been advised by my dentist that I needed braces to do this. Dr. Barillas suggested that I use Invisalign because it would be faster and just as effective. She neglected to mention that it is incredibly easy to get cavities while using Invisalign and she didn’t discuss that she planned on shaving spaces between my teeth to create more room in my mouth until she was doing it. I didn’t have time to consider what the ramifications of her shaving spaces between my teeth could be. Ultimately she created too much space and i now have gaps between my teeth. When I complained of the gaps she refused to fix them saying that my teeth were now straight and that was what I wanted, I stated that I didn’t care about the straightness of my teeth they were basically fine before all this and that I had come because of my bite, which was also not fixed. She looked up her notes and found my statements to be correct after which she said nothing. I do not recommend this orthodontist. I’m going to have to get braces again to fix the problems she created.

Love the place. Everyone is professional, caring and helpful. The best patient care experience I have ever encountered at a dental clinic. I highly recommended if you are looking for an orthodontist or any dental work. It is amazing to see how they have transformed my smile to what I have always wanted. Thank you!

Dr. Barillas and her team are phenomenal. The office is immaculately clean, and every person I've interacted with have been kind and welcoming. It was obvious right from my first visit that they are knowledgeable and skilled at what they do. I always felt like I was in good hands. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I was referred to Doctor Ingrid Barillas by Dr. Barry Grayson, the Orthodontist at NYU’s Department of Facial and Reconstructive Surgery. At that time my 9 year old son required the help of an Orthodontist who could influence his craniofacial bone growth with orthodontics to avoid future surgery to correct a developing underbite and malocclusion. Doctor Barillas patient and competent care brought the desired results. He is now 25 years old and loves to smile. Doctor Barillas also took care of my daughter’s orthodontic needs and I just finished a lengthy course of Invisalign. I'm happy with the outcome. I have and will continue to recommend Doctor Barillas without hesitation.

Dental Specialists of New York have been the best dental referral ever! The staff are incredibly welcoming, and treat you like family. Dr. Rodolfo Sanchez is informative, patient, gentle and tells you step by step of what he is about to do as he goes along. I No longer fear the dentist thanks to him. His office biller sits with you and explains all charges, insurance payments and balances before any work is done. I have had several procedures with Dr. Sanchez and my teeth have never felt better.

This is a special dentist office with a family feel. Everyone is sweet all the time. I had quotes to straighten my teeth in many places that included jaw surgery, multiple extractions and up to $15000 until I met Dr Barillas who told me, honestly, I didn't need any of that. I'm straightening my teeth with the Damon system braces and every visit is charming and painless. My teeth are moving fast and looking great, I've never smiled so much. My husband loves the work of Dr Sanchez and my friends are tarting to book too. The reception ladies are very helpful no matter how much I email and call with questions. It took me almost 2 years to find a dentist but it was worth the wait to get a team of honest professionals.

Best dentist and orthodontist ever! I had the opportunity of seen both doctors and they are just great! I went to check out her office and listen to her suggestions. I was very impressed with Dr. Barillas and her staff. I also had my dental cleaning with Dr. Sanchez and it's been my best experience so far.This dentist is better than any other dentist I've ever been to!!!! They are very good at fixing and taking care of your teeth. They are very flexible with the schedule. I hope this recommendations helps others. Dr. Sanchez and the Dental Specialists of NY staff are perfect. The office is clean, welcoming and bright. Dr. Sanchez is kind, patient, professional, attentive, and does an awesome job just had a broken tooth fixed- looks and feels great!.
