I'm a personal injury attorney and I read a lot and spend a lot of time in front of a computer. When I had an issue with my eyes, I was referred to Dr. Voo. Based upon my personal experience, she is an outstanding physician! She truly cares about her patients and takes time to explain everything in detail. I was so impressed by her and her office staff, that I have referred others to her care. I would not trust my eyecare to anyone else. If you're looking for the best in Las Vegas, go to Dr. Voo.
Rude staff! Waited two weeks for emergency eye surgery but was refused services because I didn't have insurance card although they received referral authorization last week which they verified. So, a driver's license and approved referral was not sufficient. I will go somewhere where the patient's health is the primary concern because apparently that is not the case with this provider.
Wprat retina doctor in las vegas. Suffer from uvietis amd had appt with referral and she calls me back a week later after i had appt to cancel with a referral .. to twll me rhey were not taking new pantients. Go t9 some one who wull n9t turn you down wity a referraL go to meadows eye instead
Great dr but you better know your ins inside and out first. More then 2 years after seeing her ey a bill now it is to late to appeal makes you sign that you will pay if not paid for by ins knowing full well she will be doing things that are not covered
Dr. Voo and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I arrived for my appointment today and went through all my pre-screenings with Daniel. He was friendly and thorough. Soon after, I met with Dr. Irene Voo who was very friendly and explained treatments for my problem. I didn't feel rushed and I felt like my questions were fully answered. I can't express enough how impressed I was with Dr. Voo and her staff. Dr. Voo definitely left a great impression on me.
Dr. Voo is, in simplest words, Superman. Back in 2019, my retina detached and I needed immediate next day surgery. Dr. Voo educated me not only on the procedure but also on the eye, itself. I especially loved the physical 3D model of the eye. Since my surgery in 2019, I have been in multiple car accidents that were not my fault and my scleral buckle is still in tact. The day of and after surgery, I felt completely safe in Dr. Goo’s care. Her staff is always very friendly, informative, patient and caring. The atmosphere of the office is calm, relaxing and doesn’t feel like a Doctor’s office, which is always a good thing! You’d think that it’s weird to say you can’t wait to see your ophthalmologist again, considering the circumstances, but I always look forward to seeing Dr. Voo!
My husband was referred here and Dr. Voo was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about her work! Would highly recommend her to anyone!
I can not say enough good words about Dr. Voo. She is so knowledgeable in eye care. She performed surgery on my eye, that without her surgery skills, I could have lost my sight permanently. Dr. Voo is always professional, informative, listens and answer any question you might have. She has a very professional staff too. I highly recommend Dr. Voo for your serious retina eye problems.
I am fine with the doctor's service, but the billing is not clear, the bill sent to my insurance is significantly large which seemed like I had a major eye surgery rather than an injection. I only paid two visits to the office luckily, I personally paid large out of pocket expense the office asked without explaining what expenses are, simple told me that they calculated my coinsurance before I even saw the doctor, plus insurance reimbursement, the doctor appears to charge a lot more than other eye specialists. An update of my review, many months after I paid out my account balances, I got another bill stating I owed $5 copay for each visit. I am not sure $10 I owed is what again? I moved to anther address, I later told the collection amount is $108 from $10, greedy office, very monetary driven, avoid 100%. I went to another retina office, the doctor applied generic version of medicine, working just fine with 1/10 price.
I just had my first appointment with Dr. Voo. She is a very pleasant and knowledgeable. Her staff is extremely helpful and efficient. I have been to a lot of doctors and Dr. Voo’s office was not only the best eye appointment I have had, but possibly the best doctor office visit I have had in Vegas.
