Irina is truly exceptional! We were searching for a photographer who specialized in branding and found Irina. We originally booked our session to capture the interior and exterior of our newest location in addition to a couple of photos of the team. Unfortunately the location was not able to open as originally scheduled requiring us to move the booking date 3 times. Irina was extremely understanding and professional. She was clear in her communication as to pricing and guided us to select the photography package that best fit our needs. She is now our go-to photographer in the DC metro area and I strongly recommend you reach out to her first in your search for photographers! I book photographers around the country for our locations and I can say firmly that she is the best I have ever worked with!
We had the pleasure of having Irina as our photographer for our family photos at my grandmother's 90th birthday party. From the beginning of the process, Irina was a true pleasure to work with. Irina is a wonderful photographer and so great to work with. She came with ideas according to what we told her and the questionnaire we filled and she was very encouraging with how to pose, making us laugh and having us feel comfortable for the photo session. She was also very quick in sending us our edited photos!

Irina took my daughter's engagement or pre-bridal photos - in an Alice in Wonderland themed shoot. Her prices were reasonable, she was punctual and she took some very creative and thematic photos. She travelled over an hour to come to the shoot and she was very professional and pleasant. We're very happy with the photos and I'm looking forward to working with her again.
My experience with Ms. Whitmer was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, skilled, professional, and compassionate. It was my first studio experience, and, although I had a general thought about my need, I didn’t know exactly what I wanted. Ms. Whitmer empathetically asked questions to narrow down my request, and she coached me to adjust my stances and subtly vary my clothing in ways that generated multiple usable photos in fewer than 10 minutes. In addition to the speedy, thoughtful, and professional photo session, Ms. Whitmer also edited my photo and shared the final product by the end of the business day. I recommend Ms. Whitmer to all of my colleagues, clients, friends, and family members. She’s a top-notch photographer with outstanding customer service skills.

My hesitations stem from not having good experiences before hiring friends / friends of friends. Irina was educated and very experienced! She was thorough, professional, flexible and I could tell she truly loves what she does! Our experience in the studio was relaxed and calm. We had snacks and comfy couches to sit on, as well as cute outfits to browse through. The pictures were beautiful - and I love the 8x8 canvas! I love my pictures, thank you, Irina, for making this experience the best one yet!
