For the past two years, I focused solely on lifting heavy and hitting big numbers in the gym. However, I just wasn’t feel comfortable in my own skin outside of the gym. So, six months ago, I reached out to Tony with a few goals: 1 lose body fat, 2 boost my athleticism, and 3 feel amazing overall. Tony was a game-changer! His app was super easy to use, and tracking my weight and macros daily was so motivating. The workouts were challenging, fun, and quick—just what I needed. Plus, they rekindled my love for long-distance running, and has inspiring me to train for a half marathon! With all that being said, I 100% recommend Tony and his online program. He'll create a plan that fits your goals and lifestyle perfectly. I am now down 17 lbs and feeling better than ever!
Is it easy? No way! Will you be sore? Yes, very! But it’s the best sore feeling knowing this is muscle building you are achieving. I have been a member of Iron for Zion since 2021. I look forward to workouts at Zion with Trainer Tony and others. Having a schedule and classes keeps me committed and this is exactly what I need to keep me motivated. Zion keeps me on track with my goals and gives me the push I need to continue in my health journey. The workouts are challenging but always achievable. I have been working to improve my strength and find it exciting to see the growth. If you want to push yourself to become stronger, leaner, toner, and have a plan to get your eating habits back on track Zion will help you meet all your goals.
We started attending Iron for Zion a year ago. I cannot truly express in words the difference Trainer Tony has made in my sons life. My son is a C6 quadriplegic, no other local trainer would even call us back. Trainer Tony reached out to us, met with us, and immediately had my son doing workouts. At first they seemed repetitive, but then you could see exactly his purpose. He knew Logan's goals , he knew he could help him get stronger, and sure enough he has. I called him Mr Miyagi because he truly has skills & a gift . He has my son doing thing he has not been able to for the last 8 yrs. The gym is amazing from the staff to the atmosphere. If your in a class or one on one, it is so much more than a gym. If you do your part you will reach your goals.
I have been a member for over three years. It is more than just a gym they are all family. I have never had a good experience with gyms in this area until joining the Iron for Zion team. They have helped me become healthier, happier and filled a void I did not know I had. Recommendation over 9000!!!
I have had a wonderful experience with IFZ and all of the trainers throughout my journey! I started in January 2020 and have been there since then. I think of it as my second home, hangout, and entertainment all in one. Everyone is always kind and has a great time laughing but also working really hard. There are a wide range of ability levels and ages that attend. No matter your age or ability they always make sure you are able to be included in the workout to help you with your own goals. When I started I was really out of shape and now I consider myself pretty dang athletic. They will help you surprise yourself! The workouts are always fun, different, music is pumping, and you leave tired with a huge feeling of accomplishment. I would recommend IFZ to everyone that is looking for a gym, accountability, and making changes for a better life. Thank you IFZ!
I've been part of the IFZ family for a long time and want to say they truly feel like family. They will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and supported in your healthy lifestyle goals. I will say, like family, sometimes they are imperfect, like all of us, but they are 110% sincere about giving you their best. Owner and trainer Anthony "Tony" has the enthusiasm to push you beyond what you think you are capable of, yet there is never shame when you have hit your max. Victoria, who manages almost all of the support texting is staying in contact with everyone in the IFZ family, all while supporting her own family, and is usually very responsive when you have questions or need guidance. Melissa, who does a lot of the nutrition coaching, is a rock star of information and is there to support you on your journey to an all-encompassing healthier person and is Anthony's main support. Aiden is a new trainer at IFZ and is there every morning, bright and early and enthusiastic. I've been traveling for the past 2 weeks and this morning was my first time back since flying home Sunday jet lag is real, ugh and he was there with a smile and encouragement that made me glad I forced myself out of bed for the 50 min workout. If you are wanting something easy where you don't have to be accountable for who you are and the choices you make, Iron For Zion may not be for you, but if you want to be a part of a family that cares about your health more than you do definitely give Iron for Zion a chance to show their worth. It takes more than a week to see if it's the right fit. Go the month and see the change it can make.
My name is Sue Hilton. I have been going to Iron For Zion for about 4 yrs. I started in the year of 2020. I was at the weight between 260 & 255. Had very bad knees. Couldn't get up off the floor with out using a chair or the couch. It came to a head when I got on the kitchen floor to try & fix the kitchen sink. I had to scoot on my bottom to the living room because I couldn't get up without getting on the rug to get on my knees. I saw an advertisement in a newspaper talking about the gym & what they could do for me. I called, made an appointment & and came in. Was supposed to start in the gym, but covet hit the gym. Had to close. So Anthony & I tried to do the interview in my home. My computer was down, so tried to use my phone. We found out this was not going to work. So they brought me in. This was where the adventure started. I was in a size 28xx in pants, 4x in a shirt. Couldn't move every part of my body. In the last 4 yrs I'm weighting in at around 190. Still need to lose 40+ lbs Down to size 12 to a 14 in paints, & in med to LG shirt. Can get up off the floor. Still not a pretty look because my knees still don't bend. Not because of the weight, but because of 2 artificial knees. So this is my story. I give all my thanks & appreciation to the team of IFZ. I don't know where I'd be with out their help. That are a wonderful family & team to work with.
I will start by saying the owner, who is also the main trainer, was wonderful Trainer Tony! He knew when to modify an exercise for me and he knew when to push me! He reads his client’s needs well! He has a wonderful, welcoming energy. He does a lot to make you feel welcomed and part of the group. There was an assistant trainer at each class. I’m not 100% clear but it felt like he was learning the process. He was younger - very kind and helpful. I attended classes for one week 5 classes. I did a lot better than I anticipated. I lost 5 pounds during that week. There is an assistant that reached out via text to get the enrollment process started. She was friendly and encouraging. I think she is part of the accountability team as well. I had an appointment scheduled to meet the trainer and sign up for classes. When I arrived I was told they had over booked and was asked to return in an hour. I know things happen, not a huge deal for me so I came back later. Everything went well and I signed up for classes. I originally signed up for semi-private classes but after discussing this with my husband I dropped down to group classes. My understanding is nutrition coaching is included with each plan. I came to classes, enjoyed them, and was challenged. I did feel as if this training style was more strenuous than I anticipated. I feel like I’m not as athletic as these classes require. I voiced this concern to the trainer, he encouraged me to keep trying and felt that I was doing just fine. I scheduled my nutrition consult nutrition coach is the owners wife - I don’t remember her name through the texting assistant. After waiting 20 minutes for this appointment to start I reached out to the texting assistant and she apologized for not notifying the nutrition coach that I even scheduled an appointment. When she was made aware that I was waiting I was told she couldn’t make it in and preferred to call me for the consultation. My work out class was starting in 30 minutes at this point. There’s no way I could retain all the information in that time, especially via phone call. I was never given work-out check in information, apparently they use an app for this. I was never offered an initial weigh in. There was some mention of before photos, I never heard any follow up on that either. I reached out to the texting assistant and said it wasn’t working out and I’m ready to end my contract. I sent a resignation via email. The owner came and talked to me I was still on the premises he was apologizing and wanted me to come back in and work out. He said they could work everything out on their end. I agreed to the final workout, to at least get a full week in considering I paid for a whole month’s services as a down payment towards my plan. Last workout was good, however I did notice the assistant coach seemed “off”. I asked him in so many words if he was ok today or fully present and he brushed it off. I felt he should not have been working in the state-of-mind he seemed to be in. It was the final straw for me. I felt like it was all the chances I was willing to give for the amount of money I agreed to pay. They waived their contract to where I didn’t have to pay anymore however they still ended up with a full month’s payment for only 5 work out classes and no nutrition coaching or check-in/ weigh-in process. My advice is to be very clear what you expect! I’ll reiterate that if the team was as good as Trainer Tony was, I would still be there today.
I can't even begin to describe how upbeat and amazing Ironforzion is. Trainer Tony goes beyond what any trainer I have worked with in the past. He asks questions, and he listens. We have already seen a big difference in muscle development and strength in less than 5 weeks. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to become fit and healthy check this establishment out. My son is in a wheelchair and no one would work with him , I am so grateful to Trainer Tony.
Great place, great people. Wasn't what I was looking for, but they were willing to accommodate me. My goodness, how many places do that? I ended up going to another place, but if I needed their services I'd be there. Great people and good quality gym.
