Irvine Police Department

I really believe that everything must evolve with logic, with no logic there is no direction to achieve success. I feel they are now in the right direction but its not over, operations is an on going ever changing with its atmosphere. Make it Great...

I use to wonder why Irvine was so safe and now I know why. Officer Frank Kim is one of the most professional and selfless peace officers I have ever encountered. To have a police officer such as Officer Kim is exactly what Irvine needs. I feel safer in Irvine knowing that Officer Kim is here to protect us. I would even more safe if there were more police officers like him.

I guess they have nothing to do all day.. I met with my husband at the gas station on Jamboree and Barranca Pkwy to stop for gas (he had accidentally taken my card with him). When we were leaving, the officer (who is always usually sitting around at the gas station filling up on snacks in the Ford Edge) proceeded to walk out of the gas station market and harrass/follow me ALL THE WAY home right behind my vehicle! He followed me all the way North up Jamboree and exited on Warner right behind my tail, turning right on Park Ave (a small residential street) until I turned into my apartment complex! He then made a U-turn and went away. What a joke!

I love to give credit where credit is due. Officer Shafer is a superb representation of what all officers should aspire to. Very professional. Great job!

Careful driving through irvine, especially if you're brown. these guys have nothing to do all day.
