This building serves exclusively as a dormitory for Beth Medrash Govoha (BMG). It's name is derived from its former life as a section of the Irvington Hotel, one of the largest of Lakewood's many bygone resort hotels. The hotel closed in the early 1970s and the property was vacant until it was purchased by BMG in the mid 1990s. A portion of the attached building serves as one of the main study halls for BMG and another portion, recently demolished, served as the home of the Lakewood Cheder School.

Great location. And that's basically the only thing that matters with real estate.
