I am sick I have a mental problem I am not feeling well. I suffer mental illness called Schizophrenia; I am unable to work or to go to school because of this illness. Presently, I am taking a medication and in care of a family doctor in Toronto, Ontario. My health was affected by the civil war in Somalia when I was ten years old and its deteriorating day by day. I have been sick for the past 25 years since 1991.
Presently; I am a resident in Toronto for the past 23 years since 1994; alone by myself. . Today I am not in good health. My health is worsening, I am always nervous and I hear the voices all the time. I feel depressed and unhappy and I feel lonely, however I wrote a book English Grammar short conversation. I would like to translate my book Arabic, Swahili, Italian, Somali and Spanish. I would like to learn how to speak those following languages. This book it helps to improve my knowledge grows because private school it is too expensive. I can't afford the translations for both languages it cost $2800.00 for that reason I am requesting any Zakat during the month of Ramadan. Ramadan is month of blessing. Whatever Zakat you can afford please send me a certified cheque with my name on it at above address on the top of this letter. Please try to help me as much as you can. If you don’t help me nobody else can help me you are my Muslim brothers and sisters.

I was there April 20th for Jummah prayers and also for a funeral. This place has structure. They were so organized in terms of an event. We had lunch there after my uncle funeral and everything was done so beautifully. I watched how they organize everything and putting it all back as if nothing never happened. The washrooms was so clean. It was DEFIANTLY a nice trip to London from Toronto @ this mosque.
P.s - I lowered my gaze but took a peek... never seen so many cute young men at a mosque in my life LOL.

Mashalla,
In appreciation to the efforts of almost third generation from dedicated volunteers, of those London Muslim community members, who work tirelessly to keep that place of worship, education, and feel of community up and running.
My kids first introduction to their religion teachings were down there in early mid nineties, they still speak about their pleasant experience till this moment.
Thanks to the previous volunteers, including my wife, who did teach there at that time, and to a new wave of volunteers, who will keep that flame going for future generations.
Jazakum Allah khairan.
