From the time we walked in we were greeted by Shanice. She was so sweet and even cleaned the table off for us. The place was so warm n welcoming. A very positive vibe. Once seated we were served by Raven. I LOVE LOVE LOVE HER ENERGY. She was also sweet and helped us pick out drinks. She noticed we wasn't ready to order our food so she went n got our drinks and appetizers. The food was very good. I LOVED EVERYTHING I ORDERED oxtails, mac and cheese, sauteed veg, and the mango bbq shrimp there was no complaints and I ate everything. The drinks were made to perfection as well. I really enjoyed my visit and I will be back. Also the bathroom is very clean. IF YOU ARE IN BROOKLYN PLEASE GO SEE THEM AT ISLANDSEACAFE. YOU WILL BE VERY SATISIFIED. THE LOCATION IS VERY CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS NICE AND VERY WELCOMING.

The vibes! The food! The service! Shanice was our server for the night and did not disappoint. The food was great especially the escovitch fish. There was nonstop vibes with the DJ. Definitely will be back.

The food was amazing the people are so friendly. I recommend this place to the world. We ordered everything from Jerk wings, oxtails, brown stew chicken, salmon, rice and peas, shrimp Rasta Pasta, and Curry Goat Roti. We was a party of 9 People and not one complaint. We will return soon.

The rice n peas was vey spicy. Not good to me .I had to drink 2 glasses of water to get a few spoonfuls down. The drinks were not strong enough. Ordered a "Red Eye" and a "Bahama Mama". Won't be returning.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: No

I went today with my family trying to check out a new place , we got 3 plates, reggae pasta with shrimp wich was bland except for the shrimp, my son hated it he left almost all plate intact. My gf got the snapper, it was dry and almost no meat in it, shanice the waitress said it was $15 to get a new fish but they all were the same size, basically small no meat and dry, said it was the kitchen and couldn't do anything about it. I got the mango bbq shrimp wich was actually very good. The rice with "peas" was actually reheated rice with beans very dry. The "steamed veggies" were just cabbage and shredded carrot. There's also a 20 % service charge we were never made aware of until we got the check no wonder the waitress didn't try to fix issues she's still getting a tip!! smh , very disappointed NEVER GOING BACK ! I use to work at this place it was a cool experience. I ordered from their new resturant located at 1440 Utica Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11203. I ordered last night and the food was so yummy I would definitely order again. We ordered pasta with oxtail, curry chicken & roti, oxtail rice and peas and salmon with rice & peas. My good friend Stanley took care of me and my family by dropping of our food. Thank you!

We decided to try a new spot for delivery during this covid-19 pandemic. Seamless led us to Island Cz Cafe. There was a lot of selections of foods which I liked compared to the other places I researched. I chose the oxtail rasta pasta. While I would of love more oxtail within my pasta, the meal was so freaking good. We also ordered a side of plantains and macaroni and cheese which tasted great. My partner ordered jerk chicken meal and he was happy with his choice. It was tasty and flavorful. The salad was good. The rice and peas was amazing. However, he wanted more chicken. All in all we would from Island Cz Cafe again despite the long delivery time.

Food is AMAZING. Despite the superb food and well intentioned staff, the kitchen is way too slow. Appetizers took way to long to come out, and main courses as well if the food came out faster I’d give a better review. Also, bathroom was locked on 2 occasions and no one was in the bathroom creating a line of customers outside of the door, please fix this.

The love is perfect little Caribbean restaurant. The lighting, music, food and price are all pretty good. The picture in this review are form my second visit my entree was as good as my first time. The drink are not that strong. I literally had to ask them to put alcohol In one of the drinks we order because it tasted just like kool aid. no kidding but the waitress had no issues which was good. Plan to go back and try another entree.
