Island Family Christian Church

Sadly I would have to rate this place of Christian worship a one star. I am not of Christian faith but I am a believer of the spiritual realm and was very excited when my spirit guides sent me to this place to continue to grow in my spiritual wisdom about Christ Consciousness. I know that there was something here for me and I’m open to learn from other spiritual people. My very first day I told the leadership who I was, what I believed, and my motive of why I came here. They said they don’t know what Christ Consciousness is, but I’m more than welcome to come. Sometimes different groups use different names and I was like if I was sent here it’s for a reason. I decided to go to men’s bible studied on Wednesday because it’s easier to talk and share ideas and grow. They were very nice and we got to share how are spiritual was the same and how we differ. I believe people are call to different things but we are all working towards helping people know the Great Divine. What I didn’t know was it was not a two way street of learning it was now down to our thinking or leave. I was sideswiped tonight by the lead pastor who was never there and never reached out to me to get to know me.i truly believe they are intimidated with anyone that loves knowledge and can think. It scares them to see other world views. And I was ask not to come back. I never even got a warning or anything saying, hey when you share you views we don’t like that here. I really thought they enjoyed open honest dialogue. When I ask the lead pastor why I was not welcomed he said. We are trying to convert you and you are not converting. So the motivation is not love but only to shut up and obey the golden calf the image they have made God and have limited him. The lead pastor probably thinks he is protecting his flock, but from who? A guy that is respectful that told you my intentions and has been faithfully coming to learn from each other. He seems tired and just scared of anything different it’s very sad to see that he has limited himself in growing in the Love of the divine by casting out his other children.. He m not going to lie, I feel hurt, disrespected, rejected and shamed in front of other men. And all I wanted to do was learn from people that are different then me. I hope they work on their intentions and just be honest that. “You are not welcome here if you are not like us” that is what the world does. Not the Great Divine! All his children are welcomed.

A beautiful and friendly place to worship! Truly they made us ohana, and it was so good to meet do many there. The teaching was great and I already plan I applying it. Definitely recommended!

Great and dynamic services. There are 2 morning services. Be sure to check this place out if you are around Pearl Harbor or Salt lake areas of Honolulu and looking for a great place of worship.

I was visiting the area and went here for Easter Sunday. I felt like a family member! I was greeted by many people who were all friendly. The service had many components and it was obvious these are God-filled people. I really enjoyed attending this church.

They have a Zumba Gold class on Thursdays from 9:30A - 10:30 with Vanessa. She is an excellent instructor!! Makes the class fun!!

I've been a member of this church for roughly three years now, its had its ups and downs as a whole, but I really love how well we hold together and persevere through the current trying times we face.
