Istanbul Gourmet Market

Cannot say enough about this place, the food is always fresh and delicious and home made by the owners who are a wonderful Turkish couple. The grocery also has a nice selection. The store is always spotless. Would highly recommend as a place to stop and get a quick delicious home made lunch or snack.

Ate here about 1 month ago. I've only had Turkish food once in my life but I've had Gyro plenty of times. Easily the best Gyro in the Providence area. Hands down. It was FANTASTIC. I had the Gyro and rice plate while my wife had the Gyro wrap. For the price, you get a LOT of food. This place probably works better as a takeaway place as the only had two tables that we're kind of in the middle of the grocery store. However, the food is delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly and patient, and the prices are great. Previously, when my wife and I were too bored to cook dinner and wanted take outs, we'd get a bucket of chicken. No more. This place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend as we'll be coming back for more.

I was craving one thing when I walked into this store, and that was baklava. Fortunately, the proprietor's wife makes it fresh, daily, and does an amazing job of it. The store is a little success story, its owner and manager having moved to the states quite some time ago, and it sticks to its roots of near-eastern supply and fresh salad and confectionry. My favorite part of it is the good luck charm taped above the cash register, the dollar and change from the very first sale that the store made. If you like good food and good people, this is your kind of place.

Such delicious food and such a great deal of a variety of Turkish dishes. The owners are such incredibly warm and gracious people. I only wish that I could frequent this great place more!

Awesome food. The kofte with rice was so tasty. They are also the only place in providence i saw as making baklava locally. So you can order 1 day ahead and get fresh ones. Everyone else ships from outside.
