Italian Corner Deli by Massimo

I stopped in at noon so it was busy, I ordered and waited a long time forty minutes. When the gentleman brought my sandwich he admitted he lost the order I calmed down because things happen and I appreciate honesty! Let's talk about the cheeseburger sandwich the sesame bread so fresh and firm and the lettuce and sauce and hots with hot fresh ground beef the sandwich was amazing! Service as in counter was great and this place knows everyone! I will try again when in town but only four stars due to loosing my order.

What's not to love?! They have the best Italian sandwiches around and everyone that works there is always so nice

My husband and I moved to the area a few months ago and Italian Corner Deli by Massimo is our go to for EVERYTHING. Not exaggerating. We’ve had breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just coffee and everything is perfect. Not only that the amazing guy working the front Brian is so friendly and welcoming, we feel like we’re part of their family even when they’re busy everyone is so nice. Stopped in for the first time as we were passing through town, and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly and even brought complimentary slices of pizza while we were waiting for our grinders. The pizza crust was fresh and crisp and the the sandwiches, even better. I’m glad we stumbled in, thank you for a great local lunch!

Been eating here the last five years and I will eat here for another five years. Food is delicious, service is outstanding, and the employees are some of the friendliest bunch in Trumbull. Keep up the good work guys. Good luck with the new location in Norwalk.

We were given a gift card and have been sitting on it for a while. We finally went today and I had the most amazing sandwich. It's listed as a Burrata Sandwich on the menu and I added grilled chicken. This will definitely become out new lunch spot!

I tried this place for the first time today and l’m giving it 5 stars for these reasons. 1. There was so much joy and happiness among the staff from the moment I walked in. The gentleman who took my order was so happy and cheerful that it put a smile on my face and Brian the cashier I think that was his name so courteous that he offered me a complimentary espresso while I waited. 2. Quality of food was excellent and the ingredients were of very high quality. I ordered the Italian grinder, Sicilian and Margherita pizza slices, along with the eggplant and chicken parm Stromboli. My family and I agree it was great! We’re originally from Manhattan and the pizza comes extremely close! The sauce was sweet and the dough was light and airy with a nice crispy crust. While I live in Westport, I’ll definitely be coming back!!!!! Thanks Corner Deli for such a great experience.
