The Italian Spicey Sub was great, warmed up too. This is really a sandwich shop, nothing close to an Italian foods market nor delicatessen. The flower beds out front are very nice, and the area John Carlyle is very walkable, street and below ground is abundant. Many other restaurants with more outside seating too.
Really good hoagies, never had one that I didn't like.
I had a bagel egg n cheese. It was a nice soft bagel, loved it but the egg and cheese part was little dry and not much of a taste. I’ll check back with other stuff some other time.
Best food I tasted so fair In va
This is one of my favorite lunch spots. It's a no frills deli that beats all sandwich offerings in the area. Now I wouldn't call their sandwiches and paninis 100% authentic nor cheap, but I'm not necessarily looking for that when I go out for a quick lunch. The wait times are always short and they bring out food in a reasonable time.
I've ordered ubereats from this place twice, the food has been great. The Alfredo pasta is actually really good the only bad thing is by the time the food gets delivered here everything is pretty soggy. But overall the actual food is delicious I would recommend.
Typical deli with some good Italian options. prices are fair for the quality and area. Service is polite and efficient. It's a fine choice if you are in the area for lunch, but not a place you would travel for. I recommend the eggplant parmesan sandwich, which is served piping hot, with just enough cheese and plenty of tomato sauce.
Stopped by for lunch while attending a class across the street. Ordered the Bacon Bomb burger. It was properly cooked and a juicy burger with a fresh bun, overall a nice sandwich. Wait staff re pleasant and efficient.
Great sandwiches and a generous portion of fries!
