Stopped by to get a suit tailored, tried to get it adjusted but he let me know that even after doing all that he could it still wouldn't fit right. Very honest man and I'll be back with a suit that can be properly adjusted.

The quality of work here is amazing. That stands above all. Men's Wearhouse has told me multiple times that "you can't taper suits, they don't work like that," and I always left feeling disappointed in the way I looked (ironically), even on my own wedding day. I went here for my most recent suit, and while it is a good deal more expensive than a place like Men's Wearhouse, you end up looking at LEAST 20x better. It is well worth the price. Not only that, but Dan from Italo's does not rush you. He talks to you while he works and makes you feel like a valued customer. I am extremely happy with the service and product I was given, and would recommend it to any of my friends looking to look in their suit.

Dan does such great work! I've been using his services for years. I trust him with any alterations I need to have done, no matter what type of fabric or how intricate the job may be. I refer all of my friends and family to him.

Admirable attention to the important details (for instance, he insisted I wear my dress shoes before he would alter the pants on a new suit). I've never been disappointed in the last ten years. Not only is he a master craftsman, he's genuinely courteous and friendly. Highly recommend!

Quality alterations with friendly,personal service are the perfect 500 threadcount of excellence on the fabric of Local Tailors in Newark. Dan is worth the drive from wherever you live because you will get what you want at a fair price but above and beyond handcrafted stitching. If you are looking for a tailor, go here. You will not regret it. He has done my dresses and pants ( which require heavy assistance because I am 5'1 on a good day. The stitches are impeccable. He has altered my husband's suits and you may as well consider Dan a haberdasher based on his work. Go to Italo's : Dan is your local surgeon for all your clothing needs!
