Three stars for food and service.  But this is not a BBQ restaurant in any sense.  Pulled pork was poorly trimmed.  Brisket was better but nothing to rave about.

Good sides.  Good corn muffins.  Collards suffer from most of the problems greens do up North.  The burger and fries are very good.

Attached to one of the best laid out grocery stores among the set of Plum Market, Lucky’s, Hillers (gone), and Fresh Thyme.

Best brisket (Meat BBQ Lansing aside) around! Pulled pork pretty good. Ribs were excellent, as are the smoked wings. Beer selection is excellent as well. Saw a great acoustic duo there - Pinot Gringos...
Service is adequate, not great. You can knock off your grocery shopping after dinner,  too!

One of our go-to spots for dinner. A cozy little restaurant that is set aside and apart from a major grocery store, who would have thought of that? Excellent waitstaff a great barbecue menu and large screen TVs all around make this a very cozy place to enjoy a quiet dinner.

I can make better bbq at home with my smoker.  I went a week ago and tried a couple sips of 3 different beers.  All of them have an off flavor, maybe dirty lines?  This was my first and last time here.
