In October of 2017, I moved into the neighborhood and had to transfer my daughter to the Hampton School. The secretaries and staff were so warm. They helped me out with the process and walked me right to the classroom where my daughter started her day right away. From personal experience, I am impressed with how the school handled her first day.
In the beginning my daughter loved this school. Now she don't. Her teacher is unprofessional. After 3 weeks of school she told me her teacher like her dad. We are co parenting and she live with me. She does not communicate with me at all only her father. She even sent a envelop for me to past to her father that says “privacy for father ”. Her old teacher never needed any privacy. And she send homework to him every weekend through me, without informing me of anything. We had a teacher parent meeting. I arrived at 515 on time. She said oh your daughter dad said u was coming at 6 and you didn't know it 515. I told her that not true . If that was true, I would of came at 6 not 515. Then she brushed it off like everything fine and said. Oh are here now. Unprofessional. No communication AT ALL.. My daughter don't even want to go to school here anymore. Too unprofessional.
My son recently transferred here from Carnell and the culture of the school is 100% better. The teachers and staff are a lot more informative here. It has only been a few week and he is already learning more at this school then his previous 2yrs at his old school.

This school Is an horrible place to go to. I had horrible experience there first I had nice teachers 1-4 then at fith grade while I acted like an innocent child the teacher Exposed me for no reason and said that "your an lazy bum". So as I tried to forget it I could not help but to treat the teacher like she treated me. The place is hell
I love this school it was my second home and always will be i been there sense kindergarten we had so many cool days of school i graduated last year class of 2015 and i cried and hugged my teachers in tears i really didnt wanna leave i had so much fun! how could you just leave!
I went there for fifth and sixth grade – when it first opened 1954?, transferring from Carnell. The desks weren't attached to the floor, which was radical for the time. During the World Series, our class would listen to it on one of them new-fangled portable radios. Once, we went across the street to watch pianist Susan Starr also a classmate play the Ritual Fire Dance on TV, at the home of a classmate who actually owned a television set. The school didn't. I recall looking out the classroom window and watching Summerdale Avenue being paved, while Mr. Vecchione tried valiantly to teach us. Paving wasn't the only distraction; there was also Eileen Saffron ... but that's another story.
Well, I go to this school so you can basically guess my age. But I love this school! It's fantastic, clean, and a great overall learning experience.
This school has a Alex Lemonade Stand with pizza and water and all sorts of stuff but my dad was the only one who did not give money to cancer. He is the worst dad ever
