Jill is simply amazing at her craft. She worked with my son on two college essays, both of which turned out beautifully. With Jill's guidance, they are stand-out writing samples. Even more importantly, she eliminated all stress from the process -- for our entire family. That itself was miraculous. Best money I have ever spent. Ever. The college application process was extremely overwhelming but working with Jill over the past few months made it less stressful. She was super easy to work with and I could not thank her enough for her help on my common app essay and supplements. She really helped me pick the perfect topics to write about through many brainstorming techniques consisting of freeze frames, insights, mind maps, free writes and so much more! I would totally recommend her expertise to anyone!

It was a pleasure to work with Jill on my college essay. Despite contacting her in the last moment, she found the time to meet with me as many times as needed. I have nothing but high praise for Jill's ability to work well and productively with my 17yo son. I do not think there is enough writing instruction in schools even private ones. You will not regret this investment in your child. Hiring a writing tutor was my attempt to actively counter the Twitter-ification of communication. My son Femi had a very good experience with Mrs. Jill’s tutoring. She help him a lot. His test taking got better, essay writing improved significantly. He received offers to almost all of the colleges he applied to. My son has a very busy schedule and was accommodating & able to work with him. If you need a tutor help your student, can & will help.

I first met Jill when I took one of her workshops on business writing. I'd taken other workshops in the past, but they all seemed to recycle the same information. So, I couldn't develop new skills to continue growing my craft. Such was not the case with Jill. In fact, her teaching style impressed me so much that I hired her to edit a book project I'd been struggling to finish for eight years. Jill's approach and methodology are so effective that I was able to overcome the roadblocks and finally finish the project in just a few months. I'd highly recommend Jill to anyone seeking to enhance his or her writing and overall skill set.

Jill is a family friend and amazing writer who helped me prepare my common app essay and supplemental essays for almost 15 different schools. She worked with me weekly over several months to generate strategies for how to approach each application e.g., which essay prompts to choose, how to leverage existing essays for new ones, etc., brainstorm ideas for content through mind maps and timelines, write rough drafts, polish final versions, and then proof final versions for that misplaced comma that is so easy to miss. We read each essay line by line, making sure it was to perfection. I seriously don't know how I could have navigated this process without Jill. I was extremely anxious about the college application process, but Jill made everything so easy. She is very experienced, knows how to work with teenagers, and provides incredibly insightful advice. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to ease their nerves about the college application process and produce a quality essay.
