Really yummy bento with a variety of meat options, but a little overpriced from the recent price raise.
If construction workers frequent the place, you know it's good and reasonable. Right next door to Morning Brew Café. Simple and quick, low key, great food with great portions. You rarely find prices like these anymore. The breakfast special at $4.99 - hands down, easily one of the best deals and values in town. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Cashier and cook seem to work well together and friendly, low key. They offer a catering menu too! With ample street parking, you can get a quick and ono breakfast - cheap! Go for it brah! Cannot go wrong!
Small location with BIG taste! The breakfast plate is delicious I got the Bacon, over medium eggs, and fried rice. The service was welcoming and pleasant to do business with. Kid-friendliness: Server was very nice to my child and even handed over a free twinkie.
Some ono grinds! This spot has great Korean and local Hawaiian style BBQ. From chicken to beef and pork, it’s a great place to pick up a full combination meal plate with rice, Mac and Kim Chee on the side. Ask for the Korean red hot sauce, it’s delicious! If it’s busy it can take a long time so you might wanna order in advance for pick up.
I’m a loyal Soon’s customer. But was so glad to find a solid, delicious korean plate lunch in town. Their meat jun is the second best I’ve ever had. Soon’s is still number one for me. However J’s spicy bbq chicken may be tops for bbq chic plates. But where J’s blows away all the competition is with their service. The cashier at the counter was extremely friendly, patient and helpful. She may have been the best restaurant employee I’ve ever met. Would recommend J’s for their excellent service, and good prices.
The food was great, quick and filling! Lunch portion for the price was awesome. I got the spicy chicken and the chicken was moist with good flavor, but little heat. Would definitely come back to try the Kalbi.
Looks like a clean place but customer service was not pleasant. I called in my order, lady seems quite rude. I'm big on voice inflection and there was none unfortunately. I picked up my order and still had to wait almost 10 minutes. I hope they will heed to my suggestions: SMILES & Thank you's will surely determine future success of this operation. Good luck to them!
Great spot for a local Korean BBQ Lunch or Dinner. They have a great breakfast also at at amazing price! Lot's of meat options and everything is cooked perfectly. Perfect location, awesome staff, and delicious meals!
We stumbled across J's for breakfast purely by accident. We originally were going to eat at another restaurant nearby, but because their hours posted online aren't correct it wasn't open yet here's looking at you, Highway Inn. Anyway, our group was hungry and we discovered J's served breakfast. We were incredibly impressed. The food was great, and their $4.99 meals are a great price. The eggs, Portuguese sausage, waffles, and omelet were all very good, and the fried rice was incredible. Also, the gentleman working was amazing, and he got a treat for my 3 year old niece to munch on while we waited for our food. We didn't really expect much going into breakfast but it was a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back.
Good food. Good selection. Decent prices. The new location is definitely an upgrade. Not that the old place needed one. It was very comfortable there for me.
