I had the breakfast platter, which was great. The food was cooked and seasoned well. However, when I asked the guy at the register if they had gluten free bagels, he kind of grunted yes. I asked again, and he said yeah. When the food came I asked the cook if it was GF. The response was "No, nothing we sell here is gluten free". No apology, no offer to get something different. They didn't get that some people get really sick if they eat it. Hospital sick. It's a big deal.
This is my lunch spot! I eat it nearly every day and have never once had a negative experience. The food is awesome and reasonably priced, and the service is top notch. They are friendly, personable, and hard working. It gets very busy at lunch time but I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes on my order. I’ve never once seen any of the staff standing around not doing anything or being rude to anyone even difficult customers.
Jeremy the owner gave top notch customer service! He accommodated me being a Diabetic with my breakfast! Greek half salad and 3 cheese omelet. It was so yummy! Also I needed a sugar free option for my coffee which he happily got for me! When the food came it was very fresh and scrumptious. Atmosphere is clean and fun.
The food is fine if you need something during your lunch break, but my gripe is with the kitchen. They messed up my order twice and I had to walk back twice to get it corrected. I should have checked but was in a rush to get back to the office. The staff at the counter are nice and I know this mess up is not their fault because they repeat your order they put into the system. I’m not really a “can I speak to your manager” person but was surprised that no one from management came out to apologize. Jack, please sort out your kitchen staff and make sure they are not disrespecting the ladies at the front who are providing customer service. Thank you.
Jack's New Yorker Deli is far from a deli of any sorts and a million miles from an NY style deli but then I know that before I walked in. It takes more than a Ruben on the menu to lay claim to such a prestigious title. What Jack’s can lay claim to being is a nice sandwich shop that offers up a wide selection of menu items including breakfast. The soup I had was not bad while the grilled cheese was tasty. Overall you get a decent meal at a fair price.
Food was good and brought out in great time. Would recommend as a good place to eat but not worth price for the quality. Front girl was not having a good day, and not very friendly.
I came in earlier and thought there wasnt enough bacon in my sandwich lol but the girls were very polite about it even the cashier. The sandwich and potatoes were goood. Thanks for your service
Food is ok, the staff act like they totally hate their job and their life. Not all of them but most of the male staff seem miserable and that negative energy infects everyone else.. I can feel it soon as I walk in .. employee/customer interactions are very important and I won't be going back there..Food: 2/5
Great lunchtime place if you're working around the Terminus/Tower Place office areas. I grab a sandwich and soup here at least 1-2 times per week - the food is always hot and delicious and the people and nice and friendly. Highly recommended!
Food was great, and quick. I got the New yorker with slaw instead of sauerkraut. Kids got pb&j and grilled cheese.
