Darrin was friendly, nice and super fast with my appointment! Definitely coming back to him next year.

Went to Jackson Hewitt and had Darrin do my taxes. Afterwards learned that Darrin did not have the correct social security number on my paperwork. He never asked me to confirm the information. After I realized what happened I got in touch with Jody in the Layton office season had ended so I had to go through Peter Shingledeckers main office. Jody corrected the social and told me to just send the paperwork back in. I did that on 6/14/22 and the paperwork was received by the IRS on 6/16. I still have not received a tax return. The IRS has referred me back to my tax preparer and I have called them multiple times. They are not offering any support. IN fact, Peter even said to his employee on one of these occasions, that since I dont owe money its okay if i just done file. I guess if it was his $1700 he would probably feel differently. Anyway, dont expect any support from Jackson Hewitt if they file your taxes wrong., dont expect a refund for their prices that are about $100 higher than H&R Block. Peter Shingledecker has not assisted in this situation, nor has he even called me to talk through the mistake on the part of his employee. I have lost my patience long ago, but im still waiting for my tax return and it is now September.
