So I got the Oxtails, mixed with sweet potatoes and rice. The potatoes taste different in a nice way. Overall the food was good. The restaurant could use a little makeover. No dining in this place so keep that in mind for when you want go there. They don’t accept card payments, cash only. The servings come in two or three sizes. Parking can be tight, the roads are a bit confusing depending on the direction you’re facing.
They serve great portion sizes for the price. Everything is well seasoned. The rice was a bit too spicy to enjoy. The line was long but the serve you quick. I would definitely go back.Recommended dishesBrown Stew Chicken with Rice and Peas
The food is good but after taking a few bites i bit into something crunchy. I spit it out and it looked like bits of green plastic. I dug around in my food and found another piece! Not sure if i’ll be back
Ordered from here through DoorDash. The corn is sweet and spicy so it tastes weird and the Mac and cheese is sweet as well. Both were not good. I Also found melted plastic in my rice and beans. Spent almost $70 and was greatly disappointed.
Grabbed some off my grub hub app and was very very pleased...great portions and great tasting... haven't been here in a while but glad i did...i will be back for sure...the parking is street parking, hit or miss...but overall everything was excellent!! Parking: Street, not many spots
The jerk chicken is absolutely amazing! Especially spicy! It's inexpensive for a good amount of chicken and two sides. I chose corn and macaroni and cheese. My friend got yams and collard greens for sides They never fail to please and even have a food truck outside for even more quick service. I go here everytime I am in the area. Yum!!!
I had a large salmon platter, and was completely satisfied. They served up a pretty large piece of fish that wasn't overcooked or over-seasoned. The steamed cabbage was a savory delight, accented by the sweetness of carrots. And the collard greens were fresh, not cooked to a mush and were flavorful without the overpowering taste of vinegar or hot sauce. The delivery was quick and double bagged for safety.
I ordered the CURRY goat, large because they only sell small or large I’m the sign says u get 2 to 3 sides. It doesn’t say you have to request peas and rice. I had greens and sweet potatoes my son had Mac and cheese and sweets. They put the goat on top of my greens and my sons Mac. Then they fill the other two spots with thee other side. The goat was so spicy my son never wants Jamaican food again He’s 19 and loves goat The sweet potatoes had a floral taste and were boarder line juice. The greens and Mac were the best part , but definitely not worth $25 a platter….
Got the Jerk Chicken with Mac n Cheese and Collard Greens. Not only do you get your money’s worth, the portions are more then enough. Everything I got was amazing, seasoned perfectly, made with care. Will definitely order again! Philly if you don’t know you ABSOLUTELY need to!
Was so good I forgot to take a picture ! A $20 platter of jerk chicken sweet potatoes Mac n cheese rice w/ plantains. I ordered the large platter . I was able to feed my family of 3 and still had left overs ! Everything was fresh and hot the women serving and running the place were all super kind . The establishment was clean . Only thing I was not familiar with was their system the ordering system . I thought I would already have a bag with food ready once I arrived to pick up .I called mines in The women prepare your order once you arrive she will ask your name pull up your order slip and make your platter on the spot ! Guarantee fresh cash only and you can double park and run in quick hehe …. My first time definitely not my last eating here EVERYTHING TASTE BOMB
