New BBQ restaurant in Duluth with a focus on eel! Definitely worth checking out. Lots of variety. This is not your typical KBBQ joint! This opened in the location where Oh My! Kbbq used to be. Interior wise, its your typical KBBQ deco style color scheme. Each table has it own air vent and gas grill built in. Lots of tables most appear to sit at least 4 guest each. The menu is broken down into side dishes and combos. The combos have about 3 different levels as you can see in the pictures each of which is designed to serve certain party sizes. Each has the main focus which is eel of course. I didn't see that many options for beef. Seems to be more of a focus on eel and pork mainly. The side dishes are your typical kimchi as well as some other snack dishes like tempura and fish cake soup to name a few. You can enjoy all these with a drink and that's your typical Korean beers and solju. Overall, not bad for a first time visit. The food tasted great if you like eel of course. The service was really good. Not much to complain about. It's not your typical KBBQ so try not to expect some all you can eat special or something like that.
Now metro Atlanta has a restaurant which specializes in korean style grilled eel!! Grilled eel tastes great and they also have good variety of side dishes ban-chans.
My wife and I have been looking for a good Korean BBQ place since our local favorite changed management and closed down. We've found some pretty good ones, but they never hit that sweet spot of price and quality. Jang Ga hits both of those points perfectly, with a great selection of side dishes and honestly fantastic meat. Service was great and our waiter was attentive to getting us more sides and meat. We will definitely be back!
The best Eel bbq in the US
This place is soooooo great!!!! eel is so tasty~ you should check this place the server is so kind too
I came here for lunch and tried eel soup and it was very good. I came back again with my family for my sister's birthday and I ordered eel and pork combo set with other menu. Two lady were serving us and both of them were very nice and we've really enjoyed the food. Since after, I came here pretty often during lunch time with my coworker and everyone enjoyed the food. Recently beginning of June, I came back and tried same menu, grilled spicy pork, but the food was not the same food and the service was not good either.... Even my coworker came the next day and she said same thing as well... I really doubt that they have same chef and I stop coming because of the quality of food...
New eel korean BBQ place! Grand open event deal too!! Must come!
Jang Ga’s specialty in eel sets it apart from other kbbq establishments. The eel is fresh and is complimented by an abundant assortment of side dishes and soups. The service is exceptional. We never had a burnt or undercooked piece of eel. They clean the grill after each eel grill. Small details like that help make the experience great. I highly recommend Jang Ga so take some friends and come here, it is best with a group.
It takes longer to cook but it was worth the wait. We were party of six. Ordered combo C with all the sides
Nice & clean restaurant, and staff is very nice. I think this is the first Korean Eel restaurant in Atlanta and taste is even better than what I had in Korea. I ordered a combo menu, and it comes with many side dishes. 100% recommended!!
