JCPenney Portraits

Our photographer Jessica was excellent: skilled, nice, and patient. Her manager however kept rushing our session, which is ironic because our appointment was at 1 and we didnt start til 3. The time we pay for shouldnt be cut short just because they were running behind.

I will never go there again very unprofessional all of my family pictures was crooked. The manager Nisha promise to have them resent before Christmas nothing was never sent to my email. Had to call JC pennies headquarters about this issue. Just make sure when you go there Len to the left so that your picture can be straight.

This has been my 2nd time visiting jcpenny portraits and I must say my second time was definitely better than the first visit. My first experience was not good as the second time. The photographer kept taking pictures of us when we wasn’t ready and wasn’t patient at all ! The second time I went it was very good ! Elizabeth was the Photographer and she was amazing. She took her time with our baby girl for her Easter picture. She was very patient with our daughter made us feel comfortable and she also was playful with our daughter while taking her photos! I loved how Elizabeth was I will definitely recommend her !!! We love our daughter pictures as well!

Our photographer Ms. Dee was awesome! When I made it there my two year old son was asleep. She was very patient and helped warm him up for his photo shoot. She had him laughing and smiling the whole time. Thanks Ms. Dee for a great experience!!

My photograph was Rachel and she was amazing not only did she do an amazing job on my pictures. But she fixed pictures a previous girl did. They were very busy. But both Rachel and the other girl made sure they greated every guest when they entered the studio. I was impressed how smoothly they were running for as busy as they were. Both girls had a range of people from infant to adult, rude clients as well as more laid back. But without missing a second thought they were just as sweet and calm with all. I'll say my kids annoyed me with not doing the poses as well. But Rachel calmly got them where needed to be and we loved every pose.

Long story short. They are not professional. Very rude. The manager decided she was going to mark me as late. No one greeted me after being in the studio 10 minutes before my appointment until 20 minutes after the scheduled time. An employee stopped helping me to look for photos for a guest who walked in while we were talking. Photos weren't nice at the end of the shoot. Had to take my babies to another studio to get their infant photography done.

There were two ladies who made our day. Though they were extremely busy, they never got tired offering great suggestions and stills. The pictures came good and they were professional. The lady in the front desk wrote our names miserably wrong and she never corrected after multiple attempts. Wait time was longer than expected even after making an appointment.

Our photographer was very unprofessional. She did not explain everything clearly before we started. Mainly for the fact that with my family of nine we were getting individual pictures and a family portrait we would only get to choose between 18 pictures total. So the photographer picked out our pictures and when we questioned why we had no choices, and she finished fully explaining, someone else seeing us disappointed and dissatisfied called the manager. The photographer then lied to the manager about why we were dissatisfied and made it seem like she had done nothing wrong. If I could give this place zero starts I would. The manager was ok but the photographer working under her was horrible and had a very unprofessional attitude. I would not recommend this experience for anyone.

Horrible horribble HORRIBBLE spent my ENTIRE day in that studio! I know so many people have said this but I have to reiterate. WHAT IS THE POINT OF A APPOINTMENT? After waiting two damn hours I felt so rushed when it was finally time for my son to take his pics. Photographer kept complaining about how tired she was. No creativity at all I was suggesting EVERYTHING. We got a couple of great shots when another photographer came in and sort of took over to rush the previous photographer along. Not a good experience at all. First and last time at this studio.

I went ahead and cancelled my appointment with them after finding out that unless I paid for the $40 perks membership, it would be $15 a person per session. I was told about going and getting a groupon, but that if I did that, then I couldn't use any of the coupons JC Penny offered. Honestly, if I am going to pay that much money on pictures of my family, then I will pay a real pro and not some over priced mall studio. It's not even worth it at that point. Highly disappointed because I have been using JC Penny for years, as it was a great budget saver. But if a pro is what I need to pay for, so be it. Someone else can get my money.
