The idea of divorce was overwhelming but Jeff Mathias made it very easy and helped navigate me though each step of the way. I have a friend who went a different route with her divorce and even months after the 90 day waiting period she is still having to play catch up with documents. Mr. Mathis' fee is worth every penny as he is efficient, responsive, and has a positive and upbeat attitude which is greatly needed when you are in such a dramatic and intense time of transition. I highly recommend him to anyone wondering which direction they should go.

I had a really positive experience working with Jeff on a Chapter 7 case this summer. He was very knowledgeable in the field and was always pointing me in the direction of the next step in the process. He gave me access to the resources I needed to finally get this monkey off my back. I live an hour away from Des Moines and was feeling uneasy about using counsel out of town. Jeff facilitated almost the entire process electronically. We met once, in-person, to assemble my petition and the rest of the process was seamless and uncomplicated. Another concern of mine, I have lived in a number of states in recent years and carried an unemployment overpayment from a different state. It proved to be a non-issue. I've had the opportunity to work on cases both with and against Jeff, and also have referred a number of my own clients to him for bankruptcy issues. In my experience, Jeff has always been very honest and forthright, and has been deeply committed to doing the right thing by both his clients and the Court. It's the nature of life and our business that we won't be able to please all people all the time, however I would highly recommend Jeff's services without any hesitation, and I'm glad to have him as a fellow member of our profession.

Jeff Mathias is a very thoughtful attorney who goes out of his way to make sure his clients understand the work he is performing and developments in their case. I have asked Jeff to cover hearings for me and when he does he takes the time to make sure my clients understand everything and make sure if they need anything that it is dealt with. I cannot recommend a better attorney than Jeff.
