Great selection of some of the best bay boats around. Also great prices. They sell you what you NEED. They don’t try to jack up prices on a sale to beef up extra components such as outboards and trolling motors just to make an extra buck. The knowledge of the owners and sales staff is top notch. I can’t believe I waited so long to come here. Everything they outfit their boats with is top notch. No cheap props or trailers here. These guys have been racing boats for years, they know what they’re talking about when it comes to motor performance. Do yourself and check them out ! Darrell And Jerry and top notch.

I have owned boats from Jerrys for over 25 years. I have never had a problem with sales, service or parts. When I have problems they are repaired as they should be. They house the largest selection of Mercury and Yamaha parts around. They have the best quality boats around and the service has a 3 day turn around during the peak season where most are 2-3 weeks. No one does that so if I could rate 10 stars I certainly would. Keep up the good work!!!

After three trips and more than a thousand dollars, my lower unit problem persists. According to "Jerry", a used clutch dog was installed (third attempt) to fix a shifting issue I was experiencing...essentially, I could not shift into reverse, but let's go back a bit, further. Attempt #1: drain and replace the lower unit oil...still no reverse. Attempt #2: adjust control cables...still no reverse and cables improperly installed (fell out or never re-installed into cup barrel container). Attempt #3: Properly install control cables...still no reverse. Attempt #4: Install used used clutch dog, et al...reverse works. Fast forward to now: My boat has been in the water, three times, since the curtain fell on the Jerry's Marine comedy of errors. Twice to putt about 3/4 of a mile to local Clear Lake hangout, and once for my local outboard technician to observe a pronounced, sporadic noise and vibration I was experiencing at idle speed. Initial impressions were that a gear was slipping and that he may need to shim. After evaluating, the diagnosis is that the teeth on the used clutch dog and the forward gear are rounded and should be replaced to the tune of another $800. Based on my experience with "Jerry" and company, it's not surprising that I'm being charged less for new parts and labor to, essentially, repair the same thing that took them 4 attempts and still did not get right...having the only outboard repair shop in or near Sulphur is no doubt a lucrative enterprise.
