Jessica was one of the best hires we made for our wedding! Her photos speak for themselves, but the thing we were even more impressed by was Jessica's professionalism and her ease moving throughout the day. She understands wedding timelines, she expertly arranged our family photos and even noticed when ties were slightly out of place. She also is experienced in the Portland market, something we really appreciated. She offered me vendor recommendations and was able to capture so many unique and creative shots at our elopement site because she'd been there many times before! We have loved working with her and will be longtime clients and not just because we had to keep postponing our wedding.

We just returned from our honeymoon trip to Japan. I took a sneak peak of our wedding/ reception photos during our trip and the anticipation to see the whole album was cheering me up on the flight back home : Coming from a different cultural background, we were looking to find someone who could capture the essence of our culture through a lens. The moment we found Jessica’s instagram page and saw different cultural wedding photos she’s taken, we knew we didn’t need to look any further. We loved our photos, the vibrant colors, raw emotions, scenic background, every small detail beautifully and artistically captured without any heavy edits. For two introverts, Jessica’s easy going personality made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We had so much fun! We cannot thank Jessica enough. She has a real knack for making people people feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is so important for actually looking great in the photos. Outstanding photos and just a joy to work with. Jessica captured our wedding ceremony and reception perfectly and worked quickly. She mapped everything out before the event and asked detailed questions which made the event day run smooth. We found Jessica after looking at photo finishing styles of Portland-area photographers and really loved the color and lighting of her pictures. Jessica did both our engagement photos and wedding photos, and was incredibly easy to work with on both occasions. My now wife and I aren't the most model-y people and Jessica was wonderful in helping with ideas and instructions which made for really great pictures. Artistic but fun, superb quality, super nice to work with, and very reasonable cost. If we ever have another big occasion, I could easily see us trying to hire her again.
