Jessica O'Brien - New Home Resource

Waited almost 2 weeks for an approval, we had to go apply elsewhere resulting in unnecessary continued application fees & searching for us right before the holidays. We are a military family & had to delay holiday travel plans to secure housing due to their questionable handling of our application. After being told there were no other applicants for the property just hours before I applied, they used the "multiple applicants" excuse as to the delay only after our complaints. Once we asked for our application fee to be returned, suddenly they know how to properly communicate. We got a long email with NEW reasons for the delay. Originally we were told they couldn't reach the homeowner for approval as the primary cause of delay. Then they say my pure bred LABRADOR RETRIEVER documented ESA was on the restricted breeds list for home insurance. Labs are the preferred breed for service animals of all kinds. I have never heard of them being considered a "restricted breed" like a Pitt bull or German Shepard. The entire process was inconvenient & ultimately a waste of time+$. I would not recommend doing business with them, as I feel they are dishonest.

There is a huge lack of professionalism with this company. Terrible communication, inconsiderate and some of the ladies aren’t even knowledgeable so I don’t understand why they even answer the phone! I cannot confidently say if I’d ever want to choose a home that is managed by this company EVER. It’s a shame that the front line of this company treats their potential tenants with minimal courtesy or respect. Very disappointing when you are trying to find a home and people are just disregarding your time and efforts. Amanda says she will do ABC and disappears and becomes the busiest person in the world all of a sudden and just a truly rude person. After I decided to discontinue the application process I even tried to give her an opportunity to explain her very unprofessional ways of handling business and she was just rude and dismissive. The other ladies, smh.. Jessica for one is rude as well, she hung up on me after letting me know Amanda was still unavailable! It took several days, numerous calls and emails just to get a response from Amanda and no one else could help nor knew what was going on! Can’t imagine what it would be like trying to have issues resolved if I became a tenant. Besides disappointed I should be thankful. So thank you for the incompetence and terrible energy you gave out. Never again!

Probably one of the worse management company in Las Vegas. Never felt so violated and invasion of my privacy when they did there yearly in home walk through inspection. They came in and literally took pictures of your personal belongings, where you sit, where you sleep where my kids sleep and there belonging as well. I feel uncomfortable them having pictures of my personal belongings. And not to mention how much rip offs they are. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Your better off renting a place of Craigslist.

Tenants and owners: do not do business with this company. As of July 6th, 2022, New Home Resources, LLC has entered into its 6th day of defiant violation of Nevada State law. They have cowardly been unable to communicate. As of this moment, they are in possession of and perhaps utilizing funds they have no legal access to. Is that financial fraud? Maybe. Impossible to know when this office refuses to communicate. It’s as if they’re asking to be criminally prosecuted. As of July 7th, 2022, New Home Resources, LLC, enters into its 7th day of a defiant violation of Nevada State Law. With all of the assurances that Pamela would be able to follow the laws it’s appeared as if that was beyond her capability. The task at hand is so simple anyone could’ve done so properly. Action must now be taken because Pamela was simply unable to do an obnoxiously basic task. This situation is beyond me. I have never experienced this lack of professionalism before in my life. Aside from staff being intensely rude, creating false rules using them to harass tenets, sending multiple messages in single day clearly designed to maximize the laziness of staff in this office, and lacking the courage to conduct a walk through I called around, these are the only guys who pull that in Las Vegas, now they can’t even provide a security deposit or list of deductions for us to challenge in court they made it clear they are dishonest people who can’t even look you in the eye when committing fraud. I’m going to the office today to get this paperwork. This office need to consider staff who can work within the confines of the law. Owners deserve a property manager who won’t place them in direct risk as this company has.

Honestly the worst ever lease signing process before and after I’ve ever been through. Somehow managed to spend $xxx more than what I was supposed to because they forgot this or didn’t add that. Never again.
