Want to be treated like yesterday's leftovers fly JetBlue airlines and you won't be disappointed. Our flight was delayed on 3/29/18 from 10:40 am to 11:30am (Long Beach to San Francisco) which is understandable it's not uncommon for a flight delay. As I was going through the metal detector it went off and my granddaughter reminded me that it was my hip replacement. Embarrassed that I forgot about it and equally embarrassed I forgot the card the surgeon gave me to present when going through any metal detector I very carefully followed the direction of the airline staff and stepped aside to be scanned as appropriate. Following the scan an older man approached me and was informed by the staff member who scanned me that I would be patted down by a female staff. When the elderly female staff person approached me she immediately started yelling at me and giving me orders to turn around stating "no not that way the other way", "I said turn around the other way and face the front" "you’re not turning around" "I said turn around face the front" holy cow I've turned around twice what does she want from me? She then started to press and pound extremely hard in between my shoulder blades at his point I was fearful she was not going to allow me entrance to board. She then said "stand over there" which was about a foot along side where I was already standing so I did what she wanted and moved aside. I looked at the elderly staff man who looked back at me expressionless with a blunt affect. By now I'm wondering what is going on here! I am still upset about her confrontational treatment towards me. No matter what I did to disarm her aggression her confrontation seemed to escalate. The elderly female staff member then said go! I was so shook up. When I came home to Long Beach, I told my husband I feel like writing about my experience but I don't remember her name just that she was an elderly AA female staff person. I am still upset about her confrontational treatment towards me. He said you should write it up anyway to let them know how you were treated. So I'm writing it up. Just a note, on my return from SF I was treated with dignity and respect when being patted down and told "you're ok you can go". Thanks for a harrowing experience JetBlue I'll make certain I won't trouble you again and buy my tickets elsewhere.

Customer Service skills are horrible, took a very long flight. They need to re educate their personnel, they don't know how to address to people. Once in the East after 4 hours delayed they did not offer anything complementary I was flying the whole night and the front desk lady said I don't have to give you anything. Horrible.

Today was my first flight with JetBlue and I must say that I am very disappointed. This flight has been delayed twice because they did not schedule flight attendants properly. In reading other reviews this seems to be a common occurrence. How about you get it together JetBlue... your customers deserve better.

Worst experience in my life with a check out representative. Long story short.. I was flying from California to Utah caming back from a trip in Alaska. I proceeded to the check out section and the employee that helped me (tall, mid 50's) was there to assist me. As I got to the counter I felt the negative vibe from him. Me being born in Mexico and my skin color not denying it, I was treated with racism once again in my life. When he asked me if I had my ticket I showed it to him and the next question he asked was if I spoke English. I said a little.. he answered yes or no? 100% or 0? I answered "do I need to speak English to fly with your agency?" And he said that I did encase of an emergency. What could happen if there was an emergency? It doesn't matter if you speak English, Portuguese, Spanish or any other language if the airplane is in danger I think anyone can interpret the signals shown or even the panic in everyone. Speaking English won't stop the plane from crashing. After arguing with him a little longer he said in a low voice that if I wasn't good with that that he could call immigration on me and they would handle the problem. I felt really bad because there was nothing I could do and I would've missed my flight. A little time has passed by now but writting this has made me feel a little better now since I look back at that experience often. Would love to keep flying with this airline but with this experience I wouldn't recommend it at all to any person who is not American looking.
