I scheduled a Feb.1 pickup in Portland at 2:45 AM in order to catch a 3:15 bus to Logan Airport. When the cab didn't show up at 2:45 I called Jetport Cab to get a status. I was put on hold for about five minutes then was told "sorry, I can't find the driver but I'll keep trying". We ended up driving to the bus station and arranging with someone to pick up our car later in the day. After reading the positive reviews I thought Jetport Cab would deliver but obviously not the case.
Unfortunately I will NEVER use this service again. Made reservations, they put me on hold to confirm it , said it was on the schedule, and then never showed up at assigned time. Called and they did NOT have me on the roster and suggested perhaps I booked with another service. They FINALLY came for pick up. I barely made it to my flight. The airline held the door open for me as I did a OJ for the gate. What a nightmare. Poor way to do business but great way to lose friends and make enemies.
Would not recommend. I used their online tool to schedule a pickup for the next day. I called them two hours later to confirm the reservation and they had already lost it. I made the reservation again over the phone. When they were 10 minutes late for the pickup, I called them and nobody answered they do not appear to be open 24/7. I called back 4 more times, and left a message. I missed my flight, and they never bothered to call me back. As unprofessional as you can get.
I absolutely love this company! I'm a student at Bates College and every time I need to a ride to the Portland Jetport or Boston Logan Airport, they are happy to do so. They are always on time, the staff is friendly, and the rates are reasonable! Definitely recommended to students in the Maine area!
Is there a way to give no star? That's how horrible this company is drivers texted while driving. Ran a yield sign and almost got hit by an 18 wheeler. Can't speak English and are very awkward drivers. You should stay where you are not use this taxi!
The same driver has cut me off 4 times on outer Congress, the last time almost causing me to get rear ended. He is frantically switching lanes in a futile attempt to beat "traffic" and forcing everybody else to slam on their brakes in the process. Currently missing a green arrow because he needs to be the first DB to make it through the green light at the Westgate intersection. Wouldn't trust him with my luggage let alone my life.
Called night before to ask for a 6:45 a.m. pick up. When they hadn't arrived by 7, I called and got an answering machine. Eventually had to call another company. Never got a call back explaining what happened or offering an apology.
