Jim's Barber Styling

I took my two boys here for haircuts ages 5 & 7. One man shaved a bald spot on one side of my son's head and blamed it on his tan lines. The other barber cut my son's ear so bad with the clippers that it was dripping blood and he had to put something in it to stop the blood. My son has a scar on his ear! And my kids sit still for haircuts. Needless to say I won't be going back. This place is a bare bones, no nonsense barber. You can make an appointment if you want but it seems most people just walk in. The haircuts they ended up with were not good, but not what I'd expect for a barber who's been on briskness ad long as they have. The style they do is "older gentleman" - I didn't see any fades or new styles. Most men in there were in their 60's or older. Not good.

I hate to do this i really do because I love the atmosphere and Jim is a sweet guy but I just got my haircut there today and he gave me and I'm not exaggerating the worst haircut of my entire life. I'm going to go somewhere else tomorrow to try and salvage it but the only reason I'm actually leaving this review is because I don't want this to happen to somebody else not because I don't like the customer service or the owner or anybody else that works there. They are all stand up guys I don't know what happened. I got my haircut here a few years ago with no problems whatsoever. Again I have to say I hate leaving this review but I want people to be aware before the same thing happens to them because like I said I'm going to try to get it salvaged but it is pretty bad

Great service. Walked in at 5:40 and was comfortably handled for a classic haircut by Jim himself. No muss no fuss, and no hipster pretensions or fair-weather hours. Just classic, reliable service from a man who knows what he's doing and keeps a steady business. It's not a $40 haircut, but more than lives up to it's value at $18. I will be back.

Excellent work and detail. Jim didn't need much input from me to notice what styling would work and how my hair fell. Beard trim was excellent and thoughtful. I will be back. Please note that they are cash only but there is an ATM next door at the Office.

No attitude, no fuss, no muss, great price, great cut. True old school vibe. I have thick, cowlicky hard to style hair and I have yet to receive anything but a great cut and I am fussy. Sit down and have no worries, Jim, Jason, Dina and Pam are all great.
