Jim's Speed Shop is an awesome place to build a muscle car from little work to full restoration. The team is very talented, they are all about detail and doing the job right. It's great to work with a crew that knows what they are doing and that are highly knowledgable. They take the time to explain what they're doing in the process of building the car and they always answer the phone. They have just finished building a Z28 for us that came out absolutely beautiful, we couldn't be more satisfied. They were ahead of schedule with the project, my work included full interior, electrical, suspension, floor pans and undercoating, exhaust work and brakes. Jim the owner, Billy the mechanic tech was awesome and Chip a very talented paint and body man - these guys are perfectionists to detail. I've been building these cars for over 30 years and I highly commend this company with Top Star Rating. They are honest and give a fair work rate, these cars take time and patience but its super worth it when it's all done. We are soon going to restore another car with Jim's Speed Shop! Great Job!!!

Love this shop, Jim, Bill and Chip are extremely knowledgeable on all facets of restoration and repair. The best part is they are willing to explain all ways to attack anything that ails your vehicle, while being mindful of your financial situation. They have worked on my F100 many times over the years, turning a former farm vehicle (with more duct tape and bailing wire than you can imagine) into something anyone would feel comfortable and proud to drive down the road! I have been to quite a few other shops in town that actually complain about what had to be done to make the vehicle right, one went as far as saying "they don't have time for this type of work", but there is no job too small for Jim and his crew. Quit wasting your time looking for the next disappointment, give Jim a call and make your dream car a reality!

Jim and his head mechanic Bill are great! I towed in a ragged El Camino with a blown motor and he gave me great advice/guidance and hooked me up with a new incredible 350 motor. Aluminum heads with a roller cam, serpentine belt system w/electric fans, headers, custom exhaust, and so much more! It looks and runs awesome. Pushing waaaay north of 425 hp! Also upgraded the transmission (to handle the extra hp!), and installed a new A/C and heater system. This car is now amazing! Jim takes the time to explain things to you and makes sure you understand how doing something to one system impact another one. Took a bit longer and cost me a bit more in the short run, but allowed me to make the right decisions for the long haul. Understand, this is a professional speed and resto store just like the shows you see on TV. That is the type of quality work you get here. If you are serious about having your car done right, bring it to Jim's! You'll be glad you did!!
