Jimmy Duckworth Tires

Duckworth Tires provides outstanding customer service that is unfortunately somewhat difficult to find today. Their prices are reasonable and they provide fast, dependable service every time. They have helped me two times when I was in need of a special tire. They found a way to locate that tire, have it delivered to their shop and installed, all within hours. I recommend them very highly.

Great service. Jimmy and his crew did wonders on my 19 Ram. They checked it through and through and provided me with great feedback. After the service was completed to my truck. I even recieved a courtesy call from the mechanic, ensuring the issue to my truck was corrected to my satisfaction. I will definitely continue to use Duckworth Tires

They were so fast and honest and easy to work with. I have a difficult car 74 Caddy El Dorado and most mechanics won’t even work on it, they did an amazing job for the price they quoted me in 24 hours. Amazing.

I brought my car in for tires and asked for a once-over to see what else might need doing. They added oil and did an alignment, and found me low on coolant. They added some coolant. I was concerned because I drive a European car, and coolant type is specific to your car. I was nervous, but as soon as I got home, I checked what they added and it was the correct one for my car. That's all I need to know, because it means they care about what they're doing. I will take my car to them for all of the maintenance I don't want to/can't do for myself. Recommend.

Jimmy Duckworth seems nice, but he is expensive. Ask about a common part; what they charge and their daily hourly labor rates then compare to other shops. Had the car serviced here several times, but needed to keep coming back. Most important note: they don't keep electronic records, only by paper so if you want to act on a warranty for highly marked up parts, you have to tell them the date you visited for that repair done. They can only pull up a bill if you provide the exact date then to tell you what you had done at that time, not any other visit. Unless you come back with the bill in hand, you can't make them honor any guarantee or warrantee. I found a local independent Meineke shop on Canal St who could take care of all my needs going forward ==> fair and honest pricing, plus all digital records. I was in Austin, TX and took my car in for a battery replacement - it's under warranty as I had it done by Meineke and the Meineke there replaced it for free. Too bad I didn't have my A/C recharged by them; it was Duckworth who cannot tell me when it was done :

Older guy who runs the shop is racist and dismissive. I pulled into the shop requesting a screw be tighten under my car to pin the undercarriage. There were two mechanics available, but I was told no one was available. I was told it would take to long to lift the car and pin it. A full auto shop and it would take too long to lift a car with multiple surface mounted lifts unused. I was completely shocked I released a chuckled at the rebuttal. I’ve had this service completed by Audi and it took less than 15mins tops. A pregnant young lady in the storm I would have waited if he could have accommodated me for less than what a lunch break would last.

One of my Honda Accord’s tires had a bolt stuck in it. I stopped by in the morning to get it fixed, and it turned out to be a 25min~ wait. The tire was saved and got some extra air too! It was only $33 to fix, which was much cheaper than I had originally anticipated. I’ve visited the shop years ago to have 2 tires replaced, and the price at the time was doable. Thanks Duckworth! :

I needed a starter replaced on a delivery truck, 2003 IZuzu box truck. The mechanic without hesitation got us through the process of repairs with minimum downtime. A fantastic experience and customer service.
