One of the cheapest bar in Manhattan, but it's good too. Drinks are nice according to the price. If you are a boxing fan then you have to visit this place. A lot of pictures of boxing legends. It's pretty crowded on weekends so if you want a table then you need to get here early. Around 8 for a table i guess. Staff is friendly and nice. Walking distance from times square.
Beyond happy this place is back open after Covid and the horrible passing of the Legend himself, Jimmy. Grateful to have been back again in June 2022! Cheap drinks, good music, great company!
This bar is the real deal! Great beers, friendly atmosphere, real people, great value. An absolute oasis for anyone fed up of over priced over fancy bars.
Cheap cheap cheap!!! I love drinking good and tipping better! Let’s talk about it! It’s not that the city doesn’t sleep, it’s the you. N I know where you can find the best espresso martini in town. If you’re looking for some rest and reprieve in the middle of Times Square you have to come and see Mike at Jimmy’s Corner. There’s an ambiance of old school boxing and new school cocktails that’s feeds anybody. Ask your bartender questions about jimmy, the manager owner. That man is tendered on his craft and space. Mixed crowd. It’s the professionalism of your bartendermike, every night all the time. Work baby!!! bring it home to me! Lol! he’s seriously really handsome so back off….. In addition to that— it’s the way that he makes sure that he can curate the cocktail that you might like even if you don’t think he has what you need. Read that again. I had a couple of espresso martinis. A splash of some rum. Idk. My heart full n the drinks were cheaper than that horrid Applebee’s.. stop for a hotdog and then go to Jimmy’s. Eff it. Indulge the spirits you can’t feed your gullet. Read that again. My heart is full. I think I’m in love but I could just have an excellent buzz at a great rate. Who drives in New York City? Go up mike! I will definitely be back and I will definitely refer this place—specifically Mike—to anybody that I know. When you feel like everybody can do a job you lose the sense of professionalism in it. Napkin under ur cocktail. Preferences on vodka. If you want a professional bartender you come to see Mike. Ask about the whiskey sour—the Jameson is super cheap. Mike… we’re a couple now I’ll see you at the house. Take the transit to Atlanta Georgia and meet me in the city. I got love for you babe.
Long time Patron of Jimmy’s, one of the best undercover spots in Midtown. However, this past Tuesday a group of us had one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had here across the 5 boroughs. We walk in with a group of 9 on a Tuesday, pretty empty in the back. The head bartender, closest to the window as you walk in, was super nice, appreciative, and accommodating as we entered the bar and poured us our exact shots. As we sat in the back, the waitress back there was very oppressive and mean, not just to us but to the other patrons in the area. We have been to Jimmy’s multiple times and spent hundreds of dollars, so to be yelled at and called “children” - direct quote of the waitress, especially after we order 30+ dollars of drinks as we walk in was pretty demeaning. The patrons around our table also looked confused. Once we finally sat down, when we went to order drinks we were scolded by the back waitress to not move from our seats. At that point, we decided this was not our night at once of our favorite establishments in the city and left. Our back waitress tried multiple times to stop my female friends from leaving the establishment, and caused an embarrassing scene with myself, the head waitress at the bar, and herself once my friends had left. The back waitress falsely stated we ordered 4 more drinks than we had. The front waitress was so accommodating, understanding, and amazing of our circumstances, stating once “this is a common reaction she causes among guests”. The back waitress then came up to us at the bar and accused me of ordering 3 shots without baying, which absolutely didn’t not happen. The front bartender was very understanding and apologetic, but we tipped 66% because I do not like being accused of theft. At the end of the day we know good people own Jimmy’s and great people work at Jimmy’s but it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had, customer service or otherwise, ever.
When we travel we always look for the diamonds in the rough. We were told Jimmy's Corner was a nostalgic bar where it takes you back in time. It's like when you walk in you turn into a black and white photo. The music the photos the stories in the pictures the bartenders stories!! It definately is an experience I recommend everyone do. You want that true New York experience... start and end there. Cheers
My daughter and and I were looking to kill some time while we waited for our bus to go home. I googled cheap bars and Jimmy’s was the first on the list. This truly is a hidden gem!!! Drink prices are so cheap!! The bartender Mike was so friendly!!! If your ever in the area of 44th and Broadway stop in and say hi to Mike!!!
A hole in the wall with customers from around the world! Coors Light is cheap and cost less than $200 for a round for the whole bar!
Amazing local bar with awesome service, phenomenal prices, and the best atmosphere around. I don’t come around this area often, but next time I do, I’ll be sure to come back! Cheapest bar in Manhattan with the best service!
Jimmy’s Corner bar is the if you like dive bars and you’re in the Times Square area. Cheap drinks, good vibes, and a great place to meet new people. Many memories made here.
