Unfortunately, I've not been so underwhelmed with a service in a long time. Jin Soon gravely misrepresented their services. I went to the East Village location for a manicure and pedicure. While staff is nice, the actual service was less than mediocre. I received the Flower Petal Float® - the rose pedals looked as if they came from the bodega down the street. No rose essential oil or rose oil was used. The pedicurist tried rubbing the actual rose pedals on my legs; luckily I stopped her and suggested using oil or lotion instead. The massage was short and not very good. The shellac manicure was not great either. The actual manicure was ok, but the manicurist forgot to put lotion on my hands, so I reminded her. All in all - this experience cost more than $100. I suggest you go to your local regular mani/pedi spot and don't waste your money at Jin Soon Natural Hand-Foot Spa. It's not worth it.
It was a nice organic experience. It's not quite what I expected. I'm used to jacuzzi bubbles and massage chairs. You won't get that here, but the milk and honey foot bath and soak was nice.
I was extremely impressed with the service I received- especially at 35. I expected them to lightly soak my toes and do mostly cuticle care and filing before painting my toes. But my technician went really above and beyond- she ATTACKED my callouses which I feel often gets overlook in NYC at the basic price there’s usually some ridiculous 15 dollar extra charge for callous removal, and my nails were filed evenly. The best was the massage- she must have spent 15 minutes massaging my legs and it was awesome. She also was incredibly attentive to detail; again, this was the BASIC 35 dollar pedicure. Absolutely fantastic. If you come for a pedicure, ask for Pasang - she brought back my faith in a good basic pedicure can in fact be found in nyc!
Serene setting, clean beauty, highly attentive, long-lasting manicures & pedicures. The polish is high-end, especially the House brand- making this my top nail salon in a city of millions.
So relaxing here ! Love how quiet and they do a beautiful job!
Very good pedicure with lovely ladies.
Pedicure was really poor...Don’t worth the price. Week after I must go to the other place to fix it.
Impressively rude. Even for NYC. Don't try and walk in to get your nails done like a normal New Yorker!
Easy to miss, and they were busy, hope to come back
