AWESOME GROUP! I can’t say enough good things about Ron Shiraki and his merry band of killers! I”m a first time visitor to Hawaii, and Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu-Ron Shiraki Academy was nearby, so I decided to check it out. Best decision I made on this trip. I’m an old fat guy, and even I was welcomed as family. EVERYBODY was fantastic—helpful, inviting, and just all around great guys. You will not feel uncomfortable here, no matter your belt. If you are ever in Honolulu, and you want to train, look no further. This is THE place! Worth every penny. A good solid hour of technique, and then unlimited rolls with monsters! And if you live in Honolulu, and you want to become a monster, Ronn is your guy. Trust me. Thanks again, Ronn, for an awesome experience. And thanks again for the t-shirt.

RSA is the best place on island to learn, train and develop your jiu jitsu skills. The environment is very clean and the students extremely welcoming. The academy students range from beginner to high level experts and everyone is eager to share their knowledge. The instructors are bar none, especially Ronn m, the owner, who has over 20 years of experience not only practicing his craft, but also teaching it. I cannot express the importance of having a teacher who isn't just a master practitioner, but master teacher. Ronn is both. He also keeps class fun and entertaining as he has a great sense of humor you would never guess he is a "killer" on the mats. If you really want the full experience and are new to jiu jitsu I would recommend starting with a few private lessons to really accelerate the learning process. But most importantly, just keep showing up.

Last day of vacation from NYC. I train at another famous Gracie school at home. These guys were true gentlemen. Even lent me a gi for open mat. I highly recommend this is the place you go. Awesome guys who are indicative of an awesome instructor culture. Thanks to them

Highly recommend this gym. Very friendly towards visitors, in fact I felt welcomed as if I were a regular. Had the honor to watch one of their belt ceremonies and was in awe of the experience in the room. If/when I come back to the Waikiki area this is where I will come to train.
