JJ Brown Cup

I really wanted to like this place. Ordered a large americano black and instead of more espresso than the small size, they give you more tap water… my americano was so watered down. And I was charged .75 more than what the chalkboard menu listed.

The place to get breakfast sandwiches, iced coffee and smoothies! You have to try the nut explosion smoothie, it is amazing! Fast and overall, great service.

I’m so glad there’s a small, local-owned coffee shop in the neighborhood. It’s the same nice people and they have started recognizing me just a little. Their prices are so reasonable. People are so nice and their iced coffee has an awesome flavor! Try their BEC on a croissant — delicious!

Iced Matcha latte still had plenty of powder crums. Hot latte was ok.

Cute little spot open early, which is such a perk on a work day! The egg sandwich was made fresh, very tasty and the price was reasonable. My americano on the other hand wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. The cup wasn’t filled to the top and the taste was that of just a creamy watered down espresso; no real kick. I will be going back to try some of the other items but wasn’t won over by the americano.

Wonderful little coffee shop on the UES. I used to go here everyday when I lived in the neighborhood and still make a point to visit when I'm in the area. Lots of drinks to choose from including smoothies, and their sandwiches are delicious and filling!

Their iced coffee is addicting! So good.

Ordered their chai tea latte and loved it. I decided to try their food and ordered a chicken avocado ciabatta and it was delicious!

Very rude stuffold lady I ordered three cups of coffee but the price she told me was different from the menu. I asked her why. She yelled to me and kept cursing. I’m wondering is she the animal from Bronx Zoo? Gross store
