The poor, misunderstood frankfurter takes such abuse. For 175 years or so, we have boiled them, broiled them, simmered them, nuked them, split them down the middle, cut ‘em up in beans, wrapped ‘em in blankets, even slandered them and badmouthed them. And yes, we’ve eaten them raw – right from the fridge (you know who you are). Well at JJ’s Red Hots, we figure it’s time to show the hot dog a little…respect. So do us a favor - “Don’t dis’ the Dog,” OK? After all, it has always been there for you. Always.

JJ’s Red Hots is the premier purveyor of “handcrafted” char-grilled hot dogs and sausages in Charlotte. We feature American scratch made sides, toppings and drinks. We also have great respect for the people who make the products we serve. Mt. Olive Pickles, Martins Rolls, and especially our frankfurter purveyor, Sahlens, from the great city of Buffalo, NY. Sahlen’s has been serving their products in Western New York for 143 years. And now, we proudly bring them to you.
