JJ Staffing Events

We worked with JJ Staffing for our afternoon wedding at The Bell House in Brooklyn last weekend. They were recommended by the venue and when we told the venue manager that we were working with them, they assured us we'd be well taken care of. From the moment I arrived to unpack decorations and materials from my truck, our day-of-coordinator Jany was making sure things ran smoothly. The staff assisted me in unloading my truck and setting up the room. Jany was very prepared with print-outs of our planning document for the day. She and her team took care of everything with arranging tables, centerpieces, stage setup, signage, and of course the several stages of food welcome bagels, cocktail hour refreshments, and lunch. I got to focus on personal touches, rehearsing the ceremony with my officiant, and getting dressed. It was such a relief to work with a team that was so competent in handling all the details that I could focus on my role rather than worrying about managing every last thing. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in New York.

I have nothing but great things to say about JJ Staffing Events! My mom hired them for my Sweet 16 and the day ran so smoothly. Everything from the bartenders to the buffet and catering was wonderful. The set up was just as I asked for and the venue was left spotless. JJ Staffing provided service at a private Google Local Guides event I attended today. I was served drinks by Camila Gonzalez and she was very friendly. I was the youngest person at the event, but she made me feel comfortable being there. Everything was clean and organized, probably because of the staff. No wonder Google is part of their clientele!

We started talking to JJ Staffing about our event, a floor-wide party for 6 businesses, last spring. From the very beginning, we stresses that JJ had to have liability insurance. One week before the event, someone came from JJ to inspect the site and do the final planning. Two days later--less than one week before the event--JJ told us that they didn't have the right kind of insurance, and that they didn't want to spend the money to purchase insurance for a one-time event, so at the last minute, we were left scrambling to find someone else. If you can work with an uninsured company, then JJ is fine. But they have proven to me that they can't be counted on to show up.
